The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) in Ebonyi state Abakaliki province on Thursday 11, October 2018 inaugurated another vibrant family unit at Ishi-eke in Ebonyi LGA Ebonyi north senatorial district Ebonyi state. The unit is Ishi-eke family unit 1.

Many came out to identify with IPOB in the quest for the restoration of Biafra as they pledged total commitment and support in contributing to the success of IPOB not just in their jurisdiction but to the entire state and Biafra land as referendum is being anticipated to be conducted in no distant time.

Before the inauguration Mazi Okeh Chukwuma introduced the guests to the inauguration and appreciated the members and the organizers of the family especially the unit coordinator.

Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya the Ebonyi state coordinator took time to educate them on what IPOB stand for, her achievements and expectations. He enjoined them to put in their best to action in making sure that the gospel for Biafra restoration gets to the nooks and crannies of their jurisdiction because our people need to be informed and educated on what is happening, what is to come and what is anticipated of them.

Mazi Chukwuma Okeh the Ebonyi LGA coordinator who performed the inauguration advised them to work in love and harmony which drives IPOB families worldwide, he urged the members and the principal officers to always give their total support to the coordinator because without their support, he will not achieve much, "You need support your coordinator because if he fails, you all failed". Mazi Okeh stated.

Opportunity was given to the people to ask questions in areas that they need clarifications and to make contributions where necessary, many asked questions and some made meaningful contributions which was duly responded by the superior principal officers in attendance.

Elder Nwankwo Alloy suggested that the IPOB oath of allegiance should be translated to all the indigenous Biafra languages for better and easy understanding.

Nkwuda Ikechukwu asked to know if it is a must that all the members of IPOB will be converted to Judaism religion and reacting to that, Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya said " No" that everybody is free to be identified with any religion of his or her choice.

Mazi Ogeh Friday Igiri after appreciating them for their zeal to work for Biafra restoration and actualization, he asked them to always support the media in the area of information gathering to help disseminate to the world what is happening in Biafra land, he noted that "the Nigeria brown envelope media will not do it hence, the need for us to do it"

Shortly before the closing prayer led by Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya the state coordinator, the newly inaugurated family unit coordinator Mazi Ajibo Friday for and on behalf of the entire unit appreciated the state coordinator, the local government area coordinator and his deputy Mazi Ogodo Uchemna as well as those who came and contributed in one way or the other to see that the establishment and the inauguration of the family unit was successfully done.
