The IPOB family Enugu state visited Biafrans in Enugu
maximum prison in the spirit of true comradeship. The decision to be visiting
our comrades in prison custody is one of our cardinal points as members of
IPOB. This particular visit was planned earlier than this but was delayed due
to the recent detention of 140 Key members in Enugu some weeks ago.
In the list of items supplied are food items like; rice,
garri, oil, tomatoes, pure water and articles such as soap, clothes, shoes etc.
These were handed over to them to show them love and let them understand that
we are still with them. In IPOB, we have a common slogan (o'nuru ube nwanne, agbala
oso) meaning “Be Your Brother’s keeper”.
Mazi Iganga and Nwada Veronica gave them words of
encouragement to keep being formidable even inside the prison. They assured
them that we are all in high spirits because BIAFRA restoration is sacrosanct. Another
comrade, Mazi Mathew also advised them not to engage in illegitimate act or
disobedient to the prison rules. Mazi Kizito, another comrade also told them to
keep praying to God for the actualization of BIAFRA, and also enjoined them to
keep attending their family meeting inside there, while making sure that they
convert every prisoner in their midst.
The head of prison inmates, Mazi Paul Etisiobi, and some
other members thanked the team for their support and kind gesture. They prayed
that CHUKWU OKIKE ABIAMA should bless each of them.
Another in-mate, Mazi Paul assured the Team of his
readiness to convert every member to IPOB using the gospel of BIAFRA
Restoration. Prayer was said and several BIAFRA songs sung.
The prison officials were amazed at the turnout and the
presentation made. Amongst the team of IPOB Family members that visited were: State
Coordinator, Mazi Okonkwo, Mazi Egwuatu, Mazi Prince Henry, Nwada Veronica and
Mazi Sunday Iganga.
