Information reaching our news desk from a reliable security source in
Ebonyi state Abakaliki on Tuesday 25th August, 2020 have it that the Ebonyi
state government under governor David Nwaeze Umahi, has assigned and mandated
the Neighbourhood watch security he setup for political reasons and the Nigeria
police force as well as other security operatives to hunt IPOB family members
and disrupt every all their peaceful gatherings in state.
The information equally has it that they were ordered to arrest
everybody gathered for IPOB family meeting across Ebonyi state.
The police have equally been instructed to charge any IPOB family
members they abducted for: Unlawful gathering, Murder, Conspiracy, Terrorism
etc, according to them, the above charges if levelled on, will hinder the quick
release of the accused persons, it will also pave way for their long detention;
knowing that the court is currently not seating in Abakaliki to hear the
matter.
The police are working with the Neighbourhood watch as well as the
communities vigilant groups and some treacherous traditional leaders and
youths whose names will be published soon, should they refuse to repent
from sabotage and tormenting of their own people, especially the IPOB family
members agitating for the freedom of all including their children and
generation.
Recall that about five of the members of IPOB in Ezza north LGA was
abducted by these Neighbourhood and Nigeria police force suicide missionaries,
they were taken to Ebonyi state police command in Abakaliki, where they face
various kinds of molestation from the Nigeria police.
The five IPOB family members which includes: Mazi Nnamdi Meshack Okah,
IPOB Ezza north LGA Coordinator and four others that were abducted illegally
have been charged for Conspiracy, Unlawful gathering, disrupting public peace
and orderliness and so on by the Nigeria police Ebonyi state command.
Previously Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya IPOB Ebonyi state and Mazi Michael
Clement were forcefully abducted by the SARS officers at Ugwulangwu Ohaozara
LGA Ebonyi state on 18th August, 2020, they had severely been tortured and
maltreated in the police detention Abakaliki for committing no crime against
the law or humanity other than being Biafra freedom fighters.
According to the information the government of Ebonyi state vowed to
frustrate IPOB activities and her members in the state, acclaiming that the
family is passing through division and divergent of opinions among members,
hence the opportunity for them to achieve their evil goals.
IPOB Ebonyi state fervently earns that should anything happens to Mazi
Igwe Ogbonnaya and others on their custody, that it shall not be an easy matter
to discuss or to listen. They maintained that IPOB remains one indivisible
family under the command of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, whom they're waiting for his
order to unleash hell on every wicked soul preventing the peace of the children
of the most high God Chukwu-Okike-Abiama, irrespective of who and those
involved in the killings and subjugations of IPOB family members and innocent
Citizens of Biafra.
