The Indigenous People Of Biafra led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu,
in Ohaukwu LGA Ebonyi state on Thursday 23rd April, 2020 paid a courtesy visit
to Umuogudu Akpu community at Ngbo, some days after Nigeria military invaded
the community over an allegation that one of their soldier was killed in the
community, delegation of IPOB which was led by Ohaukwu LGA coordinator, Mazi
Kenneth Ojima provided palliative which includes Food items such as Rice, yams,
garri, red oil, beans and cash to some members of the community who returned
from where they ran for their safety.
They relayed to them the message of hope from IPOB
leadership, assured them that the restoration of Biafra will bring to an end;
the sufferings and the peril they have been subjected to for many years.
Speaking for and on behalf of the community, Apostle Ezeh
Augustin who is the village head of Ndieguorie in Umuogudu Akpu, appreciated
the leadership of IPOB Ohaukwu LGA, Ebonyi state for coming to their aid at
this perilous time they needed it the most.
Mazi Kenneth Ojima assured the people that more relief
materials and food items will still reach them from the leadership of IPOB
worldwide, when Ebonyi state will receive their share of IPOB general
palliative to cushion the effect of COVID19 pandemic on Biafrans.
Our correspondent, Ifeanyi Ezeh reported that the people
were filled with tremendous joy, that IPOB remembered them in a needing time
like this.
