THE Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) in Abakaliki province of Biafra
land on Sunday 24, June 2018 enjoined the family of Mazi Ezike Wisdom, the
Ebonyi north senatorial district coordinator to rejoice over the dedication of
their daughter miss Chimamanda Victory Ezike.
The child dedication service took place at Grace Gospel mission church
Abakaliki, following the dedication ceremony which took place at the home
country of Mazi Ezike Wisdom same day.
The Ebonyi state IPOB coordinator, Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya, the state
secretary Mazi Eke Chukwuma, the state PRO Bishop Stanley Iwuala, the state
media Mazi Ogeh Friday Igiri, the state women leader Evangelist Chioma Iwuala and
many other dignitaries in IPOB and other families and friends graced the
occasion.
The state IPOB legal counsel Barrister Cyril Orogwu who was the chairman
of the occasion ceremony while speaking to IPOB news men expressed his delight
over what happened in the child dedication, how the IPOB family came out in
mass to rejoice with Mazi Ezike Wisdom their own. He said "What happened
here today is a clear indication that Biafrans loves themselves and great love
thrives among IPOB family". Also, he went further to encourage the family
to always be brothers keepers not only when it calls for bad but at all times,
because the scripture says 'rejoice with your brethren whenever he is rejoicing
and mourn with him whenever he is mourning'.
The state IPOB PRO Bishop Stanley Iwuala while addressing the media
noted that IPOB not just in Abakaliki province but everywhere in the world will
continue to be each other’s watchdog, and often rejoice with whoever that is
rejoicing and vice versa. He therefore calls for more love and brotherliness
among the family especially in Biafra land, saying that with that "Biafra
will be fully restored before we anticipate it because it is only ‘a combined
urine that forms foams’, just as the honour of a king lies on the crowd."
Meanwhile, the pastor of Grace Gospel Mission church on his sermon said
"child dedication is normal and every Christian family ought to do it
whenever a child is born because it happened like that in the time of Jesus
Christ." On the side of the agitation for Biafra total freedom from the
contraption called Nigeria by IPOB lead by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, he said
"union is not by force, if the other partner demand to separate from the
unionism then I see nothing wrong in that." He equally condemned the
continuous illegal decimations of innocent citizens of Nigerians and Biafrans
by the terrorist set especially the Fulani herdsmen and the Nigeria security
operatives as well as the Boko-haram, he called on the international
communities to run to their aid before things gets out of hand.
On his vote of thanks Mazi Wisdom Ezike appreciated those who came to honour
the invitation and for the great love they showed on his family and the little
miss Chimamanda victory Ezike who was presented with lots of gifts which
included money and other materials. He prayed Chukwu-Okike-Abiama to guide and
protect them as they go to their various destinations.
