The leader of the indigenous people of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu visited Aba, Enyi Mba city of Abia State in Biafra land on Sunday 27th of August 2017. He made a public announcement earlier about the visit to the City as a mark of respect for those killed by the Nigerian security agencies at the National high school and other places in the State when he was still in detention.

There is this courageous slogan always used by him "Onuru Ube Nwanne, Agbala Oso" meaning "Don't abandon your own person in times of trouble) that has inspired the minds of the people, especially when ever the Nigerian security agencies tend to interrupt their movements. According to some sources from different bloggers and other media platforms like facebook who revealed plans by the government of the State to use Security agencies to stop Nnamdi Kanu from coming to Aba.

It seemed as if they wanted to impose fear on the minds of the people, via patrolling around the City. But instead of that, the people were seen trooping from different angles into the venue where Nnamdi Kanu was hosted at the Boys Technical College (BTC) Aba. Kanu arrived the venue as early as 11:46 am where all the members of IPOB from different parts of Biafra land were gathered, singing different songs of victory in their different dialect's while waiting to receive their leader.

IPOB members were recorded to have covered from Osisioma down to Brass junction, from there to Faulks road across Okigwe road down to Ariaria junction. Some churches were shot down because of the occasion while some were found scanty. According to an eyewitness, Chinedu Ozuruonye, from Anglican Church, "I didn't attend any Sunday service today just to see Nnamdi Kanu for the first time". The Abia writers confirmed that there was no program held in the City of Aba because of Kanu's visit.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu speaking to the congregation, encouraged them to remain resolute, fearless before their enemies. He said, "where we are, is Biafra land. Aba is the spiritual capital of Biafra land. We started in Aba in 2015 at CKC (Christ the King Catholic Cathedral)" that day, heaven authenticated our move that IPOB will restore Biafra and that is what we have come to do.

We died in Aba at National high school. They shot and killed us in other parts of Biafra land where they were protesting for my release. As our people rest in the grave, we will never rest until Biafra is restored" and the people shouted with joy, "iseeeeeesh. " "I don't give a damn what they say in Abuja and in Lagos, I'm a Biafran and we are going to crumble the zoo. Some idiots who are not educated enough said that they will arrest me, and I asked them to come. I'm in Biafra land. If any of them leaves Biafra land alive, know that this is not IPOB. Tell them, is what I said". "Tell Buhari that I'm in Aba, any person that comes to arrest Nnamdi Kanu here will die. I will never go on Exile, I assure you".

IPOB members shouted with great joy in reply to Nnamdi Kanu, saying "Yes, Yes, Yes" as he maintained the boycott of Anambra State election, come 18th of November 2017 and come 2019 General election by all the indigenous people of Biafra. "There will never again be an election in all parts of the Biafra land. The order of Sit At Home remains intact until they give us a date for the referendum". Kanu maintained.
