The Anambra State Governorship Election which comes up on the 18th day of November 2017 has received a new title. It is now being referred to as “OFE NSALA DAY by most Biafrans who in the spirit of Biafra agitation have chosen not only to remain indoor and enjoy themselves on that day but to as well turn the day into an object of ridicule for the Nigerian government.

Ofe Nsala (Nsala Soup) is a delicious soup, popular in the eastern part... (Biafra land). It is also known as”white soup” because of its light color, due to the absence of palm oil. The authentic Nsala soup recipe calls for fresh whole Cat Fish, which gives this soup its unique taste. But in the absence of the whole catfish, catfish fillets or conger eel can be used. - SEE SOURCE HERE

This is exactly the kind of delicacy the Supreme leader of the indigenous people of Biafra said that Biafrans should prepare on the 18th of November 2017 while relaxing and enjoying in the comfort of their homes. The great leader made this known to Biafrans during an exclusive interview he granted to Sahara Reporters on the 3rd day of July 2017. Kanu had maintained his stand on the issue of election boycott which he said would not only take place in Anambra state but also in the whole of Biafra land unless the Nigeria government gives a date for a referendum to be conducted.

The Ohamadike went on to affirm that he was not interested in becoming the president when Biafra is restored but his only mission is to free his people from this continued untold hardship and subjugation Biafrans are continually subjected to in the contraption called Nigeria. In fact, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has come to say no more to their fruitless election affairs which end up seeing hoodlums and misfits into the seat of power.

The Interview:
Reporter: Sir, It was reported that you had said that there would be no election in Anambra state..., do you think that that can be possible without bloodshed?

Kanu: How can there be bloodshed when you are in your house sitting down and enjoying “OFE NSALA” on the 18th of November?

In regard to this assertive statement made by Director Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, Biafrans now use it to crack jokes, especially when referring to the day of Anambra state governorship election. Being humorous even in the face of difficulties of life is what Biafrans can't deny themselves. They always try to find a better way to make life bearable for them. One of such survival technique they normally employ is picking the tool of humor which they use to ridicule every harsh condition of life they are facing in order to surmount them. Trust me, Biafrans are good at identifying the ills prevalent in the society, then ridicule or poke fun at them in order to correct those ills.

Referring to the open declaration made by the great leader of IPOB, as regards to the Anambra state election boycott, Michael Dickson, a gallant Biafran wrote:
"November 18th Is Biafra Ofe Nsala day. Remain Indoor and enjoy it with good movies..."

In the same vein, Mazi Eziwetalu Peter, another bold and courageous Biafran and a journalist with the Umuchiukwu Writers also wrote: "Had your votes ever been counted in the zoo's corrupt elections? The answer is no. Then why struggling to participate further? When all they needed is to enrich their bottomless pockets. Just relax your day on any proposed elections in Biafra land. Remember, November 18, 2017, is the preamble."

With this, I wish to take you back to the words of Albert Einstein, "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." What is the need of participating in something that will in the end yield no good fruit? That is pure madness!

Therefore, we the Indigenous People of Biafra have unanimously agreed to the declaration made by our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as regards to the Anambra State Election boycott which is an irrevocable decision, that come this November 18, 2017, Anambra state will be totally shut down while Biafrans remain indoors to enjoy their "OFE NSALA!" I have already booked my own nsala soup in advance, waiting for the “D-Day”. Believe you me, that day will be the starting point for our freedom. History is about to be made. But the spirit of Biafra will always prevail. In the end, Biafra will emerge because it is something ordained by Chiukwu-Okike-Abiama who all powers belong to.
