Kanu reaffirms commitment, hits FG, SEPA, and ECOWAS

  

The Leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra and Director of Radio Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu reaffirms his undivided commitment towards Biafra restoration. This was disclosed to Umuchiukwu Writers media group during their courtesy visit to Nnamdi Kanu and his family at their residence in Ubeku, Umuahia Abia State, on 4th June 2017. The statement which puts more clarity on some pressing questions within Biafra supporters were made available through Kanu's younger brother, Prince Kanu Meme. 

According to the statement made available to Umuchiukwu Writers, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said that those Biafrans still in Federal government prisons against their Human Rights are used to wage war against him and Biafrans and he is doing everything possible to assure their freedom. 

"On the issue of our detained brothers and sisters, we  are working hard for their release, even while I was still in the prison, I released all of them held in the prison; which includes those in Bayelsa, Umuahia, Asaba, Nnewi, Ogwashi-Ukwu, Nkpor and the rest of them" 

"So, I'm assuring Biafrans that those who are still in the prison against their Rights, will soon be released, hence we are doing everything possible through my Lawyers to make sure that they are released. The Federal government of Nigeria is using them to wage war against me and Biafrans".

On the issue of Biafra restoration, Referendum and Restructuring, Election and Igbo Presidency, he charged Biafrans to be focused and expect Referendum in no distant time. He further stressed that there will be no further election in Biafra land until Referendum is conducted. 

"We are looking on referendum and there will be no election in Anambra State and across Biafra land until Referendum is conducted to ascertain our fate" 

"They bribed people to come out and open their shops before 30th May in order to frustrate my order, but they were turned down. It’s no difference, all I know is that there shall be no election in Anambra state".

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu also condemned the continued shifting of ECOWAS ruling on the case he filed against Federal government of Nigeria.

 "The the before ECOWAS Court and their frequent shifting of seating have proven that Africa is morally bankrupt at the governmental level. There is no sense of morality, no sense of uprightness; the corruption in judiciary is beyond human comprehension; this is why I said it’s only Biafra that will liberate every creature in Africa"

He also charged the people heading the so-called South East People's Assembly (SEPA) to stop being faceless.  

" I must assure you that there is nothing like South East People’s Assembly, it’s all fake and a way of blackmailing me. If not, do you know their leader? As IPOB leader, my face is all over the world, where is theirs? No address, not even a Facebook trace to know them, so that group never existed"

"This is the reason they bound me from speaking because they knew what I can do. They would give allegation that I was bribed, but nevertheless, I am smarter than them all. when they come to you, your duty is to bring down such propaganda, only with few questions, ask the leader of that group to show up"

He, therefore, thanked Biafrans and all lovers of freedom, supporting and fighting for the restoration of Biafra.
