Nigeria has never been an independent nation in the real sense of the word, what Nigeria got in 1960 was flag independence, a situation where everything but the flag remains the same as the colonial era. A flag independent nation does not have right of choice, decision and action over national affairs. The government always takes directives from the colonizer.

Nigeria never does anything on her own without depending on the British government, which exonerates those who call Nigerian independence “flag independence”. Nigerian government is always loyal to the orders of the British without minding the consequences. It is only a slave that accepts instructions without asking questions or considering the consequences.

MAZI NNAMDI KANU has been in United Kingdom broadcasting through radio Biafra to the whole world and he was neither molested nor arrested. They did not try to close radio Biafra despite the fact that British government was not comfortable with the truth MAZI NNAMDI KANU was spewing out on radio Biafra. The British waited till he arrived Nigeria, they instructed Nigerian government to arrest him, which they did and are just finding out that it was the biggest mistake of their lives.
Little wonder MAZI NNAMDI KANU calls Nigeria a zoo. A country whose government and people lack the ability to reason are as close to an animal kingdom as possible. If Nigerian government headed by Muhammadu Buhari are capable of reasoning, they could have been able to ask questions like why didn’t the British arrest him while he was broadcasting from London?

The pathological hatred Buhari has for Biafrans beclouded his sense of reason that he did not give a second thought to the instruction from Britain to arrest the leader of IPOB. Since that very day, Buhari’s health and the contraption called Nigeria have been on free fall to the abyss, while the profile of MAZI NNAMDI KANU keeps rising.
Nigeria will survive only when she detaches herself from Britain and stop being a slave.
