Indications are beginning to emerge of the plans to work against the government in what could be best described as anarchy for the continued incarceration of the leader of IPOB Nnamdi Kanu. Universities in Rivers, Delta, Cross River, Bayelsa, Enugu, Imo, Anambra, Ebonyi and Abia have started making moves to get involved in the agitation for the release of Nnamdi Kanu. The involvement which is perceived to be unhealthy and a scenario of what is going on in Porthacourt could pose significant threat.
The continued incarceration of the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu received widespread condemnation and has drawn immeasurable sympathy to the Biafra project. Jonathan was able to conquer the agitation by overlooking the agitators but Muhammed Buhari’s bigotry could not help it as he quickly arrested Nnamdi Kanu and subsequently gave and giving momentum to Biafra restoration due to kanu’s continued incarceration.
Courts of competent jurisdiction had released Nnamdi Kanu but Muhammadu Buhari refused to respect court orders. He persisted and sanctioned continued incarceration of Nnamdi Kanu, a move that is now tearing Nigeria apart faster than we thought. He has also appointed a trial Judge who is hell bent on nailing Nnamdi Kanu. While there is a nagging battle in the court, there is military battle on the street and everything is coming to a drastic end.
The level of killing of innocent youths who are either remembering their dead or peacefully protesting for the release of Nnamdi Kanu has raised concern that people are asking questions. One of the people asking questions is students in different Universities. The leaders in Biafra land have spoken against the frequent murder of their children but Muhammadu Buhari seemed to have no ears. Recently, the Nigerian senate rose up and spoke against the murder; an action they said is deteriorating and could result to something else.
“We have called a meeting for students to convene, University students cannot stay quiet while the country burn. We are youths and we have a lot to contribute, we shall contribute in any way possible, peaceful or violently. We understand that authorities will kick against such meetings but this is concerned meeting. Stay calm and observe and join the meeting, we are decisive because we understand what is at stake” a convener said.
When Ifeanyi Chijioke of Great Biafra Journalists (GBJ) pressed further for information, the convener who was skeptical and wondering why too many questions were coming from me became economical with reality. “We do our meeting in our lodges and if you want to join, do let me know. We are not protesting or going to be making any press statement, you will only see increase of violence, destruction of government facilities.
Nigeria has fallen, we are suffering and unable to eat, we graduate and nothing is happening, since Nnamdi Kanu was arrested, everything worsened and we feel that releasing him will douse tension and end problems. We will get involved, fighting for Kanu’s release is fighting for a better world for all Nigerians” he concluded.
On another account, the handler that aided me in the investigation noted that the action being considered is not official but being arranged my secret societies in Universities “I have confirmed information that secret cults are the people planning action. Black axe, Jurist, Bukania, Bargers, etc, they are the ones planning the action” he said and promised to take me to their meeting that would commence by 9pm that day.
The meeting was a lousy one as students sat with different brands of wine, cheering and shouting in different languages. The meeting did not take much time as I sat out where I can hear what they were saying “We are all Biafrans and must sit up and face the challenges, we as students, if we fight today for Biafra, we shall get our reward tomorrow. Nigeria has come to an end, all we are waiting for is the circulation of arms but we must use what we have now to get what we want. We are not going to protest, people protesting can go on, anarchy is the solution and I assure you, if we fight and make our mark, we shall be known and counted” he said.
His speech accompanied by cheers and breaking of bottles as he called everybody to order, the place was no longer convenient as I left. Before I could enter my car, they have already started shooting into the thin air and shouting ruggedly. My handler told me that the man that made a speech is the Eastern leader of Black movement of Africa with Adventurers and Sailors who sat on the high table with him.
