NIGERIA SITTING ON READY TO EXPLODE TIME BOMB Nigeria is a country but not a nation. In a government lecture, a student was embarrassed when she got cleared publicly that Nigeria is not a nation. Is high time Every right thinking person start making correction on that part of impression. A nation is an historically constituted, stable community of people, formed on the basis of a common language, territory, economic life, ethnicity and/or psychological make-up manifested in a common culture. While a country is set region of land having particular human occupation or agreed limits, especially inhabited by members of the same race, language speakers etc., or associated with a given person, occupation, species etc. Base on the nature and structure of Nigeria, in the 1999 adopted constitution (As amended) Section 14:3 provided sharing structure of public sensitive offices and others in order to recognize the diverse culture and ethnic groups in the country but the reverse is the case. Since resumption of Mr. Buhari to office, he has made the country Hausa/Fulani enclave. The appointments are lopsided and marginalized. It created ethnical tension in other states. This attitude is breach of constitution and rule of Law. The masses are quietly watching the Law interpreters when they will call Mr. Buhari to order. Of cause, the oppressed and marginalized regions e.g easterners (Indigenous People of Biafra) etc has been protesting to restore their nation Biafra. Section 10 of same constitution made it clear that no state has the right to adopt a particular religion. Since the resumption of El Rufai to office he has adopted Islam as religion for the Kano State citizens thereby mandating other religious members to forceful belief against their wish. He ordered the demolition of all edifices owned by different religious bodies. In spite of all these, no Senator or member of NBA has come out to ask what is happening, That one on its side is cooking another tension of Holy war in the country. Section 38 & 39 of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria 1999 (As amended) made provision for thought and expression as fundamental human rights. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has been enjoying their rights as spelt out both under United Nations Article and Humans Right Article but none of the rights has been accorded to them. Since resumption of Mr. Buhari, almost 200 IPOB members has been murdered unjustly. The Shi'ite, an extended body of Islam were murdered during their prayers (according to Shi'ite dogma) by Nigeria Military. After the massacre, at least three hundred Shi'ite members lost their lives. All these atrocities have posed threat to Nigeria government under APC and Mr. Buhari regime hoping that any provoked member of those organizations. The Hausa herdsmen has put people in bitter fear under Buhari's tenure. The herdsmen has killed almost two thousand five hundred people in eastern and southern part of Nigeria and Buhari has not done anything about it rather he is after releasing kabiru Sokoto who was sentenced for committing crime against human under Goodluck Jonathan's regime. All those danger posed areas by Hausa herdsmen are currently taken to self security by Vigilant group in communities. One of the areas in occupation of vigilantes in Enugu were challenged and arrested by Nigeria police and 72 of the innocent indigens just for protecting themselves. This is another bomb awaiting explosion in no distant time. Mr. Buhari should give Biafrans Biafra and continue with Nigeria. Biafrans can not be compressed or trashed like paper. Any assistance that can help Biafrans restore their country can not be stopped by Mr. Buhari and his cohorts. A country where Army Colonel is being kidnapped does not have all it take to stop Biafra and Biafrans. By Prince Richmond C. Amadi
