The event is an annual traditional event that brings together the entire people of Izhia and Ngbo at their ancestral home in the present Ndiaguazu Ishi-Izhia, where they equally have cultural centre for traditional events and Cultural activities of the Izhia and Ngbo people.

A lot of cultural activities such as mascaraed display, traditional music display and performance and other Cultural activities.

Many who has been blessed by their ancestors within the year interval also come for Thanksgiving with anything they could afford such as livestock, tubas of yams etc.

The traditional centre abhors evil men as they avoid coming close or eat whatever that was presented to the ancestors. It is a place where the oppressed go to seek for refuge and justice especially land dispute.

Few years back a dry tree that fell down in the middle of the ancestral home square after lying on the ground for months, miraculously raised up and stood again. Many were extremely astonished with this development.

Recall that the Indigenous People of Biafra Ebonyi state Elders Inauguration was done in same place in 2019. It is regarded as a home of all. Though suffering abandonment by those who ought to develop it to an extent of attracting international attention.

People gather from nooks and crannies of Ebonyi state to make special request from their ancestors on the day of the traditional festival or on Orie market days when the elders of the clans in Ishi-Izhia and Ngbo gather to commune with their ancestors or to amicably settle land dispute and other issues that might be brought to their table.

The 2021 edition of the event has taken place at the ancestral home waiting for the next edition come 2022 and beyond.

The people has called on the traditional rulers and government officials especially those that hail from Izhia and Ngbo to be more serious on developing the tradition of their people, they plead that the government should help to construct the road that led to the ancestral home of Izhia and Ngbo people and maintain the mansion built for them by led administration of Chief Martin Elechi as the state governor Ebonyi during his tenure.

The elders usually gather once in the four market days especially on Orie market to pray for the entire land and her children both home and Abroad.
