A team of Military Personnel with over 21 Hilux trucks stormed Orlu community in Imo State Biafra land at about 5.00am and 6.00am, shooting sporadically.
Their mission is yet unknown to the fleeing public. They invaded Okporo and Umutanze villages.
As they drove off, the synagogue was in flame and a lifeless body of one of the victims, young man identified as an Okada (Tricyclist) rider was also bleeding.
The Southeast region of Nigeria is the most peaceful but yet have the largest military presence in the entire country. One wonders why we are under military siege when there is no Terrorism nor high cases of kidnapping.
This death is one of thousands of such cases in the south-east.
Enough is enough.
