Battle in its simplest definition means a tenaciously sustained fight or struggle aimed at realizing or resisting something to one's advantage. This exercise could either be carried out internally or externally for targeted survival through genuine or subversive reasons.

It often times gets started casually but the aftermath could be unprecedentedly devastating. Wrong usage of words and approach to very sensitive issues could trigger off potential disagreements or fights even amongst the brethren/family if not properly managed.

Battle of the brethren which is majorly exemplified internally, stems from disagreements, backbiting, gossips, distrust, blackmail, sabotage, lies, self-love, etcetera.  Most often, internal wranglings though assumed inconsequential right from onset, could metamorphose into complexities as times roll by.

The accompanying emotional pains and agonies of such moments are usually not easy to bear. And one of such ugly experiences could come to the understanding that such are the handiwork of those you truly love, thus leading to "The Battle Of The Brethren". This gives birth to 'Household Enemies' that could introduce subversive plotting against their own blood, thereby precipitating divergent distractions and unhealthy rivalries.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), ably led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu undoubtedly, is a very envious global family with potential membership across the entirety of Biafraland. This family houses diverse class of vessels of unmatchable clouts that are serving their people according to their respective divinely-enabled capacities.

Unfortunately, however, some have exited the family and charted different courses to serve outlined purposes while others remain to positively impact their brethren in accordance with the overall purpose of the IPOB family. There is no gainsaying the fact too that some equally exited to fend for their clandestine and purely egocentric motives which grossly run contrary to the original catalysing family agenda. And in the bid to actualizing these motives, abridged strategies were adopted, thereby jeopardizing the struggle and violating the cherished code of conduct guiding the family regardless of the oath of trust, unity and dependability.

Many have jumped out of the ship while others though may yet be in, but have assumed docility in their services due to unresolved grudges. While it is true that 'brotherly offence does not get to the bones', according to one popular Biafran adage, it is also true that many either wittingly or unwittingly have been consigned to a state where they can yet forgive and mend fences while a handful of others have garnered for themselves, enemies that if not frugally managed, the atmosphere could further degenerate beyond imagination.

As the family prepares so strenuously therefore to confront the inevitable external battles which must not be compromised, there is this dire need to very expeditiously, pro-actively, selflessly and holistically settle every contentious BATTLE OF THE BRETHREN, to be able to fast track and effectively get the job comprehensively done both unanimously and victoriously.

Wisdom and grace are indispensable ingredients that should be employed in approaching this matter and it is indisputably correct that the IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi in company of his able lieutenants are well able to steer this ship to its safest harbour. Biafra honestly, would have been restored before now but for the mischievous mindsets of the snitches within, whose agenda run glaringly counter-productive.

Though the defence line may have been stoutly secured against the array of external enemies, there yet exists, pockets of internal battles amongst the brethren that need be urgently, permanently and amicably quenched for the glorious advancement of unified purposes. Let every ''wounded soul", diverse groups/views within the family be bounded and harnessed for a sterile, incorruptible and indestructible family. The awesome slogan of IPOB, ONE FAMILY! has to be genuinely lived out and maintained in every intent and purpose.
