The city of Abakaliki is currently into the state of pandemonium and great tension as the Nigeria army laid siege at Onu-Ebonyi and parts of the town, shooting sporadically on anything sighted including the civilians going their normal activities.

The city is gradually turning to a ghost town as many civilians are abandoning their businesses to seek refuge in their various villages due to Nigeria army occupation of the salt city.

Movement of vehicles and human has eventually seized in Abakaliki following the quagmire which emanated from the series of Nigeria army and police attacks and killings of the innocent citizens especially the #ENDSARS protesters across the state since the protest aimed at ending bad governance in Nigeria kicked off in Edo state and spread to all parts of the contraption called Nigeria including Ebonyi state.

Just yesterday Monday October, 26th 2020 the Nigeria army and police opened gun fire on the innocent #EndSARS protesters very close to Central Police Station at Inyimagu in Abakaliki, not less than five protesters were killed by the soldiers and many sustained gun wounds.

Confidential information from reliable source has it that Nigeria Government has concluded arrangements to deploy thousands of soldiers to Biafra land including Ebonyi which they have started trooping into the state fully armed, to unleash mayhem on the innocent citizens that has committed no crime, apart from seeking better future for themselves and their posterity.

As at the time of this report, the way about of many who took parts in the protest has not been ascertained by the family members as they're yet to return, it was believed they were taken away by the joint security forces to an unknown destination.
