It has been confirmed that Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya IPOB Ebonyi state
coordinator which was abducted the early hours of 18th August, 2020 at his
country home Ugwulangwu Ohaozara LGA Ebonyi state, has been kept under the
custody of the Nigeria police, department of Special Anti-Robbery Squad
[SARS] in the police headquarters Abakaliki, opposite Ebonyi state government
house Abakaliki.
Ebonyi state IPOB legal team and IPOB Ebonyi Media team as well as IPOB
intelligent unit are currently following the matter judiciously with high level
of determination to unravel the charges levelled against him and others
abducted alongside him in his house at Ugwulangwu Ohaozara LGA Ebonyi state
Biafra land.
Though efforts made by IPOB Ebonyi legal team to have a detailed
interaction with him was obstructed by the police.
The governor of Ebonyi state Engr. David Nwaeze Umahi and the Nigeria
police are still being placed on notification order to release Mazi Igwe
Ogbonnaya, who have not committed any crime against the law or any individual.
It may interest you to know that Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya as a public figure
and a servant of humanity and mankind with unquestionable character from birth
has never robbed anyone or defrauded anyone within and outside Ebonyi state,
hence no need subjecting him to suffering and subjugations and detention as
Government of Ebonyi state in charge of governor David Umahi and the Nigeria
police force has decided to carry out against him now
Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya is an activist, a lover of freedom and a hardcore
IPOB family member legally agitating for the freedom of Biafra under the
leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, [Ihe Nkembu na ala Biafra].
Few days ago, on 28th of July, 2020 Mazi Ogbonnaya Igwe buried his
late wife, late Onyinyechi Ogbonnaya Igwe and the only way chosen to console
him by his own brother, governor David Nwaeze Umahi, from the same LGA Ohaozara
with him was to order the police to get him arrested and run him down
illegally.
Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya deserves no harm and ill treatment such that he's
going through right now in the hands of David Umahi and the Nigeria police
force in Abakaliki.
IPOB family members in Ebonyi state are still putting the world on
notice that should anything happens to him or others currently in detention
under the custody of the Nigeria police, that it shall not be easy to tell the
aftermath story which must be ugly and sad to behold and listen to.
