THE Nigeria army on Friday 17th April, 2020 invaded
Umuogudu Akpu community at Ngbo in Ohaukwu LGA Ebonyi state, some residents
that were taken unawares as the soldiers arrived the community with more than
eight military Hilux van, on late hours of Friday night was shot dead by the
brutal soldiers.
As at the time of this report, the soldiers are still
laying siege over the community shooting both human beings and animals aside if
seen around the community, survived citizens have scampered for their safety in
the nearby communities.
Recall that the Nigeria army on February 2020 accused the
community of murdering one of her soldier in Umuogudu Akpu community at Ngbo.
This assertion by the Nigeria army that the community
murdered one of her soldiers, was not confirmed to be true after thorough
investigations carried out by the media over the sagacious allegation. Citizens
and residents of the community through various interviews and interactions with
the media, have confirmed that nothing of such ever took place in their
community or their neighbouring communities.
Elders and the community leaders of Umuogudu Akpu have
been arrested by the Nigeria Army Consecutively, still on the same matter.
On March 10th, 2020 the Nigeria army teamed up with the
dreaded Fulani herdsmen and invaded Umuogudu Akpu community, fourteen persons
was killed and some was beheaded, while many sustained bullet injuries; some of
the victims are still receiving treatments in an undisclosed hospital due to
security purposes. The invaders dressed on the mode of Fulani herdsmen
terrorists. They applied Benue state short distance road to Ebonyi state to
carry out the heinous crime against humanity.
No investigation was done over the invasion of the
community, either by the Nigeria government or the Ebonyi state government, none
of the perpetrators have so far being arrested for prosecution.
The Nigeria army have currently occupied the entire
community with her soldiers, unleashing mayhem on the innocent citizens of
Umuogudu Akpu in Ngbo Ohaukwu LGA Ebonyi state, Biafra land.
Some of the community residents which narrowly escaped from the community on Friday night, narrated their ordeal while speaking with the media, they called on the international communities to quickly run to their aid before they will all be wiped out by the soldiers.
Many homes have so far been set ablaze by the soldiers.
