Do you know that I was granted an interview to
Independent Newspaper, one of the largest or should I say most reputable media
houses in the UK? The others said they have interest in it. Once Independent
Newspaper published that very interview from me, the other ones rang and said
it's a bit volatile, I can't carry it, it is because Zoo consultant have told
them, "PLEASE DON'T PUBLISH IT, ANYTHING YOU WANT, WE'LL GIVE TO
YOU". That is what we are facing. One very eminent man told me today,
before I came on Air. He said: "if having Professors develop a country,
Nigeria should be one of the most developed countries in the World".
But that's not the case. You can go and cram or recite
the thesis that someone wrote in 1962 and they give you Professorship. It doesn't
mean that you are knowledgeable or intelligent, it doesn't mean that. People
that claim they are learned both the Judges, the Lawyers, they even foolishly
call themselves the Elites. Elitism for where? For rigging elections, you can
see the mess you are all in.
A whole Supreme Court is saying you don't need to tender
your certificate to INEC anymore before you contest. So, if I am a rogue Doctor
and I have performed a surgery successfully once or twice, yet not trained to
be a Doctor, if you take me to a supreme Court, they will say because he
performed one successful operation in the past, he is now a Doctor. Supreme
Court, and I'm thinking to myself, if this is the reasonable new capacity of
learned people, imagine what will happen to those in Nigeria who are not
learned. What I'm telling you is the truth, investigate it.
