Freedom is a tough journey of self-sacrifice. It
transcends emotions and vague inspirations while requiring the full deployment
of our creativity and intelligence. True IPOB discipleship welcomes no
complacency as we are required to carry our own cross all the time. It means
that freedom comes first and every other thing behind follow. It is a call, to
subject one's will to that of freedom, and embrace whatever comes our way in
the course of true freedom.
The call to carry one cross entails swimming against that
of the popular culture. It means standing up for freedom no matter what the
media tries to force upon us. Our love for freedom must go beyond emotions and
superficial rituals and reach for maturity through sweat and suffering, reason
and conviction.
What is happening in Nigeria or that contraption is to
rob you of dignity, make you miserable and afraid, and dehumanize you at their
profit without the real interests of which they represent. The question here,
is Nigeria a free country and democracy? NO! Living in Nigeria is like living
as sub-humans or medieval desert peoples. There is no morality in Nigeria.
Nigeria is the most viciously corrupt country on planet earth known for
impunity.
No wonder the misery index report says Nigeria is the 6th
most miserable place to live on earth. They are wrong there, Nigeria is numero
uno. There are no expectations that justice shall be served. Restoration of the
nation of Biafra will uphold the human dignity and capital development because Biafra
depends on human resources not on liquid (oil) resources.
CONSCIOUSNESS OF
PREPARATION
Due to procrastination, the consciousness of making
preparation is drastically reducing thereby leading to a fire brigade approach
to issues which eventually leads to an unsuccessful end. Having seen the need
for preparation, which is an essential prerequisite for any laudable
achievements, and so while, we the IPOB, continually asking ourselves so many questions
unresolved, in spite that Man was created perfectly well as a Free agent but we
see ourselves continuously not freed at all. True freedom would have solved
partially everything, but contradictory freedom was granted. What are we to
prepare for? To answer this question, that is pertinent to note that we prepare
for that is to be, with the conviction that it must be. In all, the
consciousness of making preparation for any adventures should be uppermost in
our hearts.
Despite all odds, we must succeed this time, we must
renew our commitment to the restoration of Biafra. We are one family with the
same culture not minding the differences in languages, and whatever affects one
could found itself wallowing on. That means that the greatest measure of our
maturity and overall wellbeing lies in the way we conduct the chain of command
and rule. Remaining tenacious and consistency, for our freedom must be our
watch word.
Many IPOB families as well as individuals, even in
diaspora today champion the freedom through rallies. A lot has been done and
achieved since our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu came up with these methodologies of
restoring Biafra.
And so, we pray that the hearts of member nations may
fill us with compassion, that we may be willing to do all within our power to
restore Biafra. Finally, I am of the opinion that there is need for all to be
formidable till Biafra is restored. Biafra restoration is our last hope.
