The Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) Ebonyi state on Thursday 16th May, 2019 officially inaugurated Odeke family unit in Ishieke Ebonyi LGA. The inauguration was attended by the members of the community both men, women, children and youths.

The Ebonyi LGA IPOB coordinator Mazi Chukwuma Okeh and the senatorial district coordinator of Ebonyi north, Mazi Wisdom Ezike Nwambam performed the inauguration on behalf of Ebonyi state coordinator Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya.

Timothy Agbidi, our correspondent who filed in the report, says that the event went successfully and the people pledged to remain loyal to the leadership of the indigenous people of Biafra led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, 'Ihe Nkembu Na ala Biafra'.


Speaking to the people before the inauguration was done, the Ebonyi north senatorial district coordinator Mazi Wisdom Ezike Nwambam took time to educate them on their true identity, he noted that they are Biafrans and that has been before the contraption called Nigeria emerged.


On his side Mazi Chukwuma Okeh the Ebonyi LGA coordinator, urged them to give their total support to IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu according to him, "the agitation to restore Biafra is our collective task and we must come together to join forces with our supreme leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and restore Biafra".

The newly inaugurated family unit coordinator Mazi Nwibo Godwin Nwovu and his deputy Mazi Nkwuda Mathias, appreciated those who made it to the inauguration especially the LGA and senatorial district principal officers who attended. They assured them of their full cooperation and aid till Biafra is restored and beyond.

Shortly after the inauguration, they moved round the community to evangelise and inform the people about the coming nation Biafra and the need to come out and join IPOB family, responding to the gospel of freedom preached by the members of IPOB Odeke family, the people expressed joy over the development and promised to identify with them as soon as possible to move the agitation to a greater level.
