Since the creation and history of the contraption named Nigeria, democracy has been elusive, part of the reasons being the resort to selection instead of an election. For the past 59years, Nigeria has been in the dark searching for stability, this is because there is no cohesion and mutual agreement between the nation-states that make up Nigeria. Successive civilian and military governments have promised mountains, where they all knew they could not fulfil molehills. This is because the foundation of Nigeria is faulty. Each government, since the first revolution that took place in 1966 had blamed its predecessor for bad fate, incompetence, corruption and ineptitude, amongst other shortcomings. this incompetent APC government has taken all the shortcomings to a different level. They have been in power for almost four years, they are still blaming their non-performance on the past administration. The country has never seen it this bad, every aspect of the country is in total shambles. Nigeria is rapidly marching to its grave.

The revelations of public conduct of the past show plainly the gross inadequacies in terms of elections (selection). In Nigeria selected officers see and indeed use public office as an avenue to loot and embezzle public Funds, and somehow become multimillionaires at the point of retirement or even at dismissal. In Nigeria when we say democracy died, what kind of democracy do we mean? A democracy we can throw on a scale and see how much it weighs, or the natural definition of democracy or "Cabalocracy".

Democracy is as old as mankind. Surely, anything devoid of the original meaning of democracy or system, which is found irrelevant to the needs, and aspirations of the vast majority of those whom it is intended must fail. Meanwhile, let me bring this to the general notice of Biafrans that the electoral provision in the constitution of the contraption has made the factor of numerical strength in deciding the winner of elect-selection into the office of the president of the federal government of Nigeria a mirage and failure.

Much has been said daily in both print as well as electronic media, about the ills in Nigeria as an entity. Such evils are pretty well known to all, the obvious ones being corruption, dishonesty, sycophancy and inordinate ambition, amongst others. These ills are found in all levels of the polity. Each of them participates according to their level and how much access they have to the till. The executives are the loudest because you see how they misuse public fund with bogus contracts and how ministries and parastatals are just channels to syphon funds. The legislature appropriate to themselves obscene sums of money as salaries and allowances.

Furthermore, recent revelations regarding the behaviour or conducts of the judiciary whose members are supposed to be matured, experienced, educated and enlightened members of the elite who are ironically referred to as the cream of the society in the national arena is nothing to be proud of. One cannot believe that Nigeria judicial system has been irrelevant and failed to serve its purpose. The democratic system has not been operating on or within the democratic ambit of the law but a system of dictatorship. Punch, a Nigeria daily of Tuesday, January 29 2019, quoted the Rivers state governor Nyesom Wike as saying, "February election, is an opportunity for Nigerians (not Biafrans) to end dictatorship."

Biafrans, it is time to realize that NO country can be celebrated through self-deceit and wishful thinking. There could be no real democracy without enlightened citizens and faithful representation. Then why are we enslaving ourselves in Nigerian selections called elections? It is time for us to wake up and call this sham they call an election by its name “a waste of time, energy and resources” and do something about it. It is time for us to say, “enough is enough” to these cabals. It is time to look our colluding politicians in the face and tell them that they cannot continue to enrich themselves with our blood. We must make a bold statement come February 16, 2019, and tell the world that we have had enough of slavery in the hands of the feudal Fulanis.

The time has come for Biafrans to stand up and take their destinies into their own hands. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB have put Biafra on the lips of everybody worldwide. Biafra is the topic of discussion in the world media, in diplomatic circles and in homes all over the world. Biafra has risen to prominence and it is now left for Biafrans to claim their prize. Biafrans, the ball is in your court now, come 16th February 2019, which is a Biafran referendum, we must all sit at home. This is the solution to your plight and will lead to the restoration of Biafra. We need to show the international community coming to monitor Nigerian election (selection) and our referendum that all we want is Biafra by shutting down Biafraland on that day. Going out to vote in Nigerian election (selection) is voting to remain in Nigeria while sitting at home is voting for Biafra.
Biafra restoration is our last hope.
