IPOB (Indigenous peoples of Biafra) election boycott in Biafra land is backed up by series of protests to show their determination and seriousness about it. There was general protest in the whole of Biafra land on 23rd November 2018; again on 6th and 7th of December 2018, there was another protest in Aba and Obingwa both in Abia state respectively.
Nigerian politicians have started their campaign for 2019 general elections with fake campaign promises in other to win the citizens' votes, but IPOB is on ground to let people know why they should not vote and also why the date for Biafra referendum is important.
More than one year, Nigeria is being governed by a dead man, many of them are aware but did not say anything.
Even when Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was courageous enough to say it, up till now the Nigerian government has not come up with any evidence to prove him wrong. Instead of proving him wrong, they twisted the story to confuse the gullible ones. They purposely and mischievously misquoted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu that he said Buhari was cloned. What Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said and continues repeating is that the man in Aso Rock as Nigerian President is not Buhari but an impostor, Jubril from Sudan. According to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, " you don't need a native doctor to tell you that the man in Aso Rock is not Buhari, all you need is, the ability to reason and a pair of functioning eyes ".
Despite Nigerian Army’s harassment and intimidations, IPOB members still come out on the streets to protest, that tells you how determined they are to restore Biafra. No amount of killings and arrests will stop them. If Nigerian government want IPOB to remain peaceful, they should stop killing and arresting them because according to their leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, any more killings or unlawful arrests, he will order them to pick up arms.
If it gets to that extent, you know what it means. Nigerian Army cannot withstand them. It is common knowledge that the Nigerian military has not won any war nor defeated any group with arms such as Bokoharam, Niger Delta Avengers etc. The only people they can overcome are unarmed civilians. Bokoharam and Niger Delta Avengers have killed a good number of them, if they don't want to lose the remaining ones, they should not allow IPOB to go violent because that will lead to the decimation of the remainder of an already Bokoharam defeated and demoralized ragtag army.
The unmasking of Jubril by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and civil disobedience by Biafrans will continue until the international community does the needful by giving Biafrans a date for the referendum.
