My attention was caught by the recent developments with the arrested women of IPOB in Imo state. It is a known fact that injustice has reared up its ugly face upon their poor souls, but one thing I see as desperation and hunger of getting rid of them by Okoroawusa should be starving them to death. Some IPOB women found protesting peacefully were illegally abducted and denied bail in the court; however, it has just been confirmed that family members and visitors have been barred from seeing them. In actual sense, they are to remain hungry till further notice.
Since the agitation of Biafra Freedom, the Eastern Governors and their political Elites has been dumbfounded and directly exercising their normal duties of ethnic cleansing on the order of their paymaster Muhamadu Buhari to eliminate the Biafra race. We will never forget so soon our brothers, sisters, fathers, and mothers killed by the so-called Nigeria happy trigger police, civil defence, army and air force joint forces. Often times, I had wondered what be the offence of Biafrans. The only answer has always been that they are Biafrans and are asking for the right to self-determination as written in the human right internationally recognized law.
On Wednesday, December 2, 2015, Miss Anthonia Nkeiruka Ikeanyionwu, aged 20, a young, beautiful and talented Biafran was among the fallen heroines who met their untimely death during the picketing at Ojukwu gateway, Onitsha Head bridge, Ndubueze Johnson Okoli, Kinsley Mathew Essian, was killed on IPOB-Trump rally in Port Harcourt on January 20, 2017, where men of the Nigerian army attacked Biafrans for simply demonstrating their solidarity to the inauguration of the elected American President Donald J. Trump.
On September 15th, 2017 Nigerian army invaded the home of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu home killing 28 persons and made away with the body of Nnamdi Kanu and parents, since then no one has seen, known the whereabouts of the Parents and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. This prompted our mothers to go on the Sreet of Owerri for peaceful protest, to ask the where about of their son kidnapped by the Nigerian government and kept them incommunicado for a longer period of time. However, was Rochas okorocha out of guilty conscience sent out his murderous combined security forces to kill and molest the aimless women harras and arrest them because they are exercising their right. These women have passed through severe torture and denied proper medications.
On 17th of August 2018, these women were arraigned before a Magistrate court in Owerri knowing fully well that they can not give justice to the Biafran people and on the same time denied them bail on the jurisdiction of bail rather they levelled baseless charges as usual. These women were charged with Ten Count charges, which includes; (i)Treason (ii)Terrorism and other baseless charges. The human right violated acts in Owerri Prisons today being the 21st Of August 2018, brought about chaos in the Prison premises, which compelled the DCP and other Prison Officials to address angry Family members of the detained Biafran IPOB Women. In his statement; " We have been ordered not to allow visitation of the IPOB Women remanded here. Take the Food back, until further notice". This is heartless, inhuman of the highest order.
Why should Rochas Okorocha of Imo State starve these innocent women to death? The family of Okorocha should call him to order and advise him to release our women and let them go because they did nothing wrong to him for the Isolation. There is a saying that says "a stubborn fly follows the corpse to the grave. Biafrans has been killed on countless nights, they have been subjugated on various circumstances. The involvement of their mothers will not be tolerated. If Rochas Okorocha fails to release these women unconditionally, he should be made to face Biafrans whichever way deemed necessary.
