Wonders they say will never cease. This street saying was made real yesterday in Owerri magistrate court, as the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra whose where about alongside his parents have hitherto remained seemingly unknown since his home was raided in September last year, was seen sparking awe and living his favorite teaching, “be fearless before your enemies.” Three days ago, some women of the Indigenous People of Biafra numbering above two thousand including a pregnant woman, in Owerri the Imo state capital, took to the streets to peacefully protest and demand for the release of Nnamdi Kanu who is strongly believed by all logical reasons to be in the custody of the Nigerian military. These women who before the action had demanded same verbally must have significantly been provoked by the discovery in a thick forest the decaying remains of members of the adamant freedom seeking group who are strongly believed to be victims of the inglorious and unwarranted military operation during which Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was allegedly whisked away. The same operation christened "Operation Python Dance II" claimed the life of scores of innocent citizens whose only crime was demanding in a globally attested peaceful manner for a separate state from Nigeria called Biafra. As reports had it, a combined force comprising of the military and police clamped down on the women tear-gassing and arresting them, they were jam parked in military Hilux vans and taken to unknown locations. As expected, the legal team of IPOB, led by Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor, swiftly swung into action and the Nigeria state had fewer options than to arraign the women before a magistrate, cooking up laughable charges which included treason and terrorism among others against them. Sad and shameful as it is, the magistrate refused them bail further subjecting the innocent women to more abuse and torture. Away from the court, the women were left with no shelter on a heavy rainy day with the prison officers claiming that they had no more rooms to accommodate them. As at the time of reporting, arrangements were still on the ground to provide an alternative facility to house the innocent prisoners even leaving them at the mercy of the torrential downpour. These from all indication boil down to the violation of fundamental human rights which has become the other of the day in Nigeria. It is therefore expedient for protectors of human rights the world over and the powers that be, to do the needful by pressurizing the unrepentant Nigerian state to release people’s mothers who have the only sort and are seeking a better future for their children. These women could not have become terrorists overnight. They could not have been terrorizing Nigeria or plotting treason against the state with their wrappers. Often times, some gullible fellows who see the Biafran struggle led by IPOB, like “mission impossible,” would teasingly ask, “where is Nnamdi Kanu?”, and I never fail to bring to their knowledge if they will, the fact that Nnamdi Kanu is long done with his part of the assignment, which is to educate the black man by word and action and duplicate himself in as many as possible. Now, history has been made, Nnamdi Kanu has been pluralized. There now exist so many of him even in women, young and old. Today, that which I always tell people was played out again for them to see. My assertion was greatly validated by those women today in Owerri.

The courage, fearlessness, boldness, gallantry, never say die spirit, resoluteness, bravery, displayed by those mothers in court yesterday could not have come from any other source, the leader himself thought it, he lived, he is still practicing it. Simply put, Nnamdi Kanu was in court in those women. Though of truth, this is not the first time we are seeing such a heart-warming show of good studentship of the great institution of virtue- Radio Biafra London by persons of different categories. We have seen the likes of Benjamin Mmadubugwu and his colleagues, we have seen the greatest of them all those who have paid the supreme price in defense of our land since the coming of the British, but these old women, appear to have shown in some unique and catchy way that the IPOB leader really knew and knows his onions. They have further told the army and the Nigerian state that they may be hiding Mr. Kanu from the public, but he is not hidden after all.
They cannot hide him because millions of him now exist. No hand can cover the moon.
