The family of Indigenous people Of Biafra worldwide has come to the notice that the abduction of Mazi Enyinnaya Abaribe, the senator representing the Abia South constituency was initiated by the nefarious people of the opposition party, and never the approval of any lawful constitution nor order. We stand in an inquisitive motion to ask, why was Enyinna Abaribe arrested? Senator, Enyinnaya Abaribe was actually kidnapped (it wasn't an arrest because there was no court warrant to justify the arrest). Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe is a serving senator and a son of Biafra land.
Different opinions have earlier, in contempt described the improper abduction as a way of teaching him bigger lessons for standing up as a surety for the Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. While many ascribed it to be an ardent supporter of IPOB which remains a fat lie. "I did not order senator Abaribe's arrest by SSS, his arrest has nothing to do with Nnamdi Kanu case~Binta Nyako stated, 26th June 2018. Hence, Every right-thinking person should be asking why was Enyinna Abaribe abducted? Recall, that Senator Abaribe had earlier informed Nigerians that the sum of N30,000,000,000 was smuggled into the power budget against due process. The money didn't pass through the Senate power committee, which he's the Chairman. He wanted to know why such could take place behind his knowledge as was supposed. From the view of things, such scandalous arrest was given to the senator upon his curiosities. Senator Enyinna was not only arrested/kidnapped, he was also detained unlawfully for more than three days without any evidence convicting him of any crime. This is sure to be an avenge from the opposition party. The big question is what has he said or done that contradicts the rules of the opposition party? Base on analysis, he has revealed the fraudulent activities of the APC led administration of Nigeria. We want to remind the Nigeria President of his promise to abide by the constitution and ensure that government at all levels is responsible and accountable. “For I will not have kept my own trust with the Nigeria people if I allow others to abuse their's under my watch.” quoted Muhammadu Buhari. However, Contrary to the pledge, the DSS/SSS has continued to indiscriminately arrest and detain people illegally. Recall that during President Buhari’s brief spell as a military head of state in the 80s, there were decrees conceived to detain people. One of such legislation was the State Security (Detention of Persons) Decree No 2 of 1984 signed by President Muhammadu Bulgari as a military Head of State. This decree, compelled the detention of any person, which could not be justified by the detaining authorities, declared illegal by the courts.
Today, the same decree has been disregarded by the initiator. He did not only violated his own rules, but has violated the laws of the international rights as stated under the extant human rights law regime, if anyone will be detained beyond 24 or 48 hours, the detaining authority is required to obtain a remand order from a Magistrate Court in line with Section 293 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015. Bold enough, we stand to state that the Nigeria government using the DSS has continued to violate the constitution, the African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights Act and the Administration of Criminal Justice Act by repeatedly arresting and detaining innocent people without legal justification.
Words cannot express the gravity of crimes committed by the present APC led administration in Nigeria. Her rulers are blasphemous and nefarious. The kidnap which later became an arrest of Senator Enyinna Abaribe has shown it all. What is now left of Nigeria? What next will her incompetent leaders do?
It is shameful that the elites of politics in Nigeria have abstained themselves from the law. The arrest and detaining of innocent people and criminal suspects without court orders are contrary to the provisions of section 293 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015. It will be pertinent to note all of these so that the world will clearly understand that Nigeria is no safe place for people who are Biafrans or support Biafra.
