Here in Africa, especially in Nigeria, lives seems valueless; this is why we are reminding humanity of their roles to make sure that this common phenomenon does not have effects in the pending human right exercise awaiting the people of Biafra. There is every essentialism known to humanity for the United Nations (UN) to hopefully carry out one of their obligations towards the accredited referendum process that will soon take place in West Africa, to ensure a total propitious referendum exercise.



Just as the referendum for Biafra continues to receive appraisals both in constructive and destructive ways, following the boycott of Anambra state election which has paved way for a referendum, there is every tendency that the federal level of the Nigerian government following their animalistic behaviour will strike soon.


Their normal modus operandi explains the high proportional percentage that if care is not taken, the whole eastern part will he obliterate since there are no defensive medium to protect them from these enemies. Biafra land has been effectuated with a high equilibrium of threat posed by the Nigerian military and other security operatives.


In an agreement, Biafrans had sought for a referendum, thanks to Yahweh it's been granted. On the contrary, there are circumstances surrounding the success of the referendum; among these circumstances is "Security".


Security is the mainstream for a successful referendum for a Biafra state because Biafrans are defenceless people who have been subjected to live threats on gun points. This is why referendum accreditation to Biafra has left every Biafran with this terrific question "Will UN protect us"?


The forthcoming Biafra referendum is a medium to prove if the United  Nations is dead or alive. One of the responsibilities of UN is to protect the people and ensure that peace and justice trails in member countries.

United Nations must stop playing politics with the lives of Biafrans and take the bull by the horn. I could recall during that bloodbath in war frame, the Nigerian government has the international cloak of the United Nations under which they committed series of human rights violations. In continuity, Biafrans are being killed under Buhari government yet, the United Nations had turned deaf ears as if nothing is happening.


The UN must not forget that the Nigerian security operatives had on several occasions threatened to wipe out the Biafrans as a result of misquoting referendum and self-determination as a call for war. Boko Haram and the murderous terrorists hiding in the guise of Fulani Herdsmen has been preferred than Biafrans; the Nigerian government can tolerate these terrorists but will go extreme miles to smash the toes of Biafrans.





At this point, it will be wise for the UN to send security operatives to the area given a referendum before, during and after the periods of this exercise in defence for Biafrans as a body that is indeed fighting for international peace, security, better living standards and human rights.

Rights of the indigenous people are their priority, therefore, they must intensify their dynamic counterpoise against the planned script of the Nigerian government to exterminate Biafrans, as failure to do this might upsurge another mighty genocide in Biafra land. Biafrans shall never know how to forgive the world, UN, EU and other world organizations if such becomes their final fate.
