On the 14th of September 2017 at exactly 6 00 pm on Thursday, the Nigerian Military invaded the home of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous peoples of Biafra (IPOB) at Afarauku Ibeku, Umuahia, Abia state, killing about 20 people and taking their corpses away, leaving so many people injured and some missing.

Since then, the way about of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is unknown. Before the incident, Nnamdi Kanu was in his home, waiting for his court date, which is, suppose to be on the 17th of October 2017. All the places he visited in Biafra Land, he made mention of that court date and how he was preparing to attend it. Among other things, he said that he was going to Abuja for his court case with two million Biafrans. If he never wanted to go for his court case, he wouldn't have said so.

His Barrister Mr Ifeanyi Ejiofor in a fifty minutes interview with Sahara Reporters on Wednesday 4th October 2017 confirmed that Nnamdi Kanu, his Client called him on phone and told him about the Military attack in his home. That invasion of Mazi Kanu by the Nigerian military was a well thought out assassination attempt by the Nigerian Military. So the Nigerian Military should provide Nnamdi Kanu either dead or alive. If he is dead, let them bring his corpse for us to give him a befitting burial as a Prince and the Biafran leader. If he is alive, let them bring him out for him to attend his court case in Abuja on the 17th of October 2017.

If they fail to produce him and based on that, he did not attend his court case on the said date, those that signed his bail form should not be held responsible rather it is the Nigerian Military that would be held responsible. They have no right to attack a man whose case was still in court and moreover they have no place in handling civil matters. They are supposed to defend the sovereignty and integrity of the Country. They are meant to be either in the borders or in the barracks until they are called upon in times of War.
