Zuma statue

Few hours ago, Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, unveiled a statue of Jacob Zuma, the President of South Africa in his state capital - Owerri. He equally went on to influence some of his local stooges to confer a chieftaincy title on the South African leader.
While at it, he was fully supported by Olusegun Obasanjo, the former military junta of Nigerian, who deludes himself with the petty notion that he is the father of Nigeria.
While many people had wondered what the Owerri event was all about; others had guessed and second-guessed what they were aiming to achieve by it. But interestingly, none appear to have hit the bull’s eye, as none of them associated it with the Biafra restoration struggle, which is the real crux of the matter. But perceptive Biafrans knew.
South Africa is one of the strong bases of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB). they gave Obasanjo hell he was in power in Nigeria, and Nelson Mandela was South African president. In fact, at the moment in time, South Africa hosts one of the broadcast points of Radio Biafra (known as “Hello Motherland”). The plan of Obasanjo, who has been running amok around the world trying to stall the Biafra restoration efforts, was to bring the South African leader close; bribe him with whatever they could (as all Nigerian governments are wont to do); and then have him destroy Biafra cohesion in his country.
But they will fail. Biafrans will win.
Yes they will fail because they thought South Africa is running a fake democracy like that of Nigeria – a dictatorship veiled as democracy. They will fail because South African people still remember the efforts Biafrans made in the struggle for their freedom. They know that while the likes of Obasanjo (even as Nigeria’s military junta) were mouthing empty support for South Africa by prescribing the use of witchcraft to fight the apartheid regime, the leadership of University of Nigeria, Nsukka (University of Biafra), had already started raising funds for the struggle.
Amechi: kept Mandela safe in Biafraland during apartheid struggle
The South African people know that for six months, while Nelson Mandela was wanted in South Africa by the apartheid regime, the Eastern Nigeria (Biafra) government under Michael Okpara shielded him. As a matter of fact, the man saddled with the personal responsibility of taking care of Mandela was Mbazulike Amechi, and he is still alive today. But to show how terrible Obasanjo and his lackey, Okorocha is, they did not invite this man while honouring the South African leader.
Most of all, they will fail because Zuma is a freedom fighter to the core, and one who believers that all African peoples, like Biafrans, must be free of all colonial entanglements. For this reason, Biafrans trust that Zuma will do a lot of reflections when he gets home. They know he will turn around to support the Biafran peoples rather than their oppressors.

Long live Biafra! Long live South Africa!  And shame to agents of colonialism and neo-colonialism and their agents like Muhammadu Buhari, Obasanjo and Okorocha!
