Do you know what insanity is?
To answer this, Albert Einstein rightfully wrote, “Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”
It is insanity to continue to partake in something that yields no good fruit, in the end, something that you always arrive at the same result no matter the different methods which you apply. For one to constantly participate in Nigeria elections that end up producing no good results, is a good example of this “Insanity” and the only solution to this problem is for Biafrans to boycott every election in Biafra land so as to fulfill their desired dream - Biafra. Though many Biafrans still clamor for one Nigeria out of ignorance, hardship, and greed, the best way to achieve our absolute freedom is to always look on the brighter side of life and boycott Nigeria elections that end up voting criminals who run down people’s lives into power.
Ignorance: one of the factors that contribute to this problem identified above is ignorance. Many Biafrans, out of ignorance have continued to participate in something that they are not supposed to be doing due to the fact that they lack the knowledge of the concept involved. In everything we do in life, information matters a lot. When you don’t have it, you are so grounded! But It is not just all about getting the information but getting the right one. Over the years, the Yorubas through their media have tried to delete the history of the Biafran people in many ways through what they publish in their news. They are doing all these because they want to continue to subjugate the Biafran people and possibly deny them complete access to the oil in their own land. Of course, they are not alone in this game, they are in conjunction with the Hausa – Fulani people and the British government that has remained a ghost in this whole game of politics.
They have succeeded in making the Biafran people a minority in their own land using the tool of DIVIDE AND RULE to achieve this purpose. For instance, they deleted the Bight of Biafra from the Nigerian map so as to bury the real identity of the Indigenous People of Biafra. They don’t talk about the Biafra –Nigeria war in their media platforms and the Nigerian government has totally shunned the idea of including the history of the war into the school curriculum so that the people, especially the younger generation will not find out the truth behind it. And they also created South-South region and forced the idea into the people of that region that they are not Igbos whereas it is a huge lie.
These people in question have almost the same culture with the Igbos and bear the same name as well. As a result of all these lies peddled by the Yorubas and their conspirators just to destabilize the Biafran people so as to continue to gain access to the oil in their land, many Biafrans now lack the knowledge of who they really are. Most of them out of ignorance have helped in empowering the evil that has come to destroy them. They take part in the Nigeria electoral processes which ends up putting devilish individuals who destroy their future and that of their unborn generations thinking that they are helping in fostering and upholding the unity of the country. The same country that has continued to deny them access to a better living. If they should look back and investigate into the cause of all these problems, and try and find out about their real origin, they will then have a better notion about all these. They will understand that Biafra restoration is the only hope of a common man.
Hardship: Another factor is, hardship. Many Biafrans are in abject pauperism due to the economic situation of the country - Nigeria. During campaigns and elections, the Nigerian politicians, knowing fully well what people lack and desire most (Money), will be out there on the streets, inside the market squares, at gatherings, even in the churches sharing money to the poor masses and promising them heaven on earth so that they will vote for them. And due to the fact that people are in a serious quandary and need what they are offering at the moment, they no longer care to ascertain the credibility of the individuals who are throwing money at them but always focus their attention on getting the money at hand (Chop today and die tomorrow syndrome). People should be aware that the only reason they are still suffering like this, is because of those evil men they are helping to vote into power to rule them. those Nigerian politicians are full of deception and evil. When they need your assistance, they will promise you all and all but as soon as they enter that sit of power, they will simply delete you from their diary. Let’s face it because that is the stark reality of life.
Those politicians don’t really care about your own interests but theirs and that of their family members alone. Avoid Nigerian politicians and their elections because they are the ones sitting on your progress. Before they come to offer you money to vote for them, you were living, accepting money from them doesn’t change your status but makes it even worst! Since the so-called leaders no longer care for the interest of the poor masses that helped put them in power, the best option is to totally reject them and plan for our future which is Biafra.
Greed: the last factor I would like to discuss here is greed. According to Erich Fromm, “Greed is a bottomless pit which exhausts the person in an endless effort to satisfy the need without ever reaching satisfaction.” In the same vein, Eartha Kitt wrote, “Greed is so destructive. It destroys everything.” Most Biafrans are of this nature. They usually allow their greediness to take the better side of them. they indulge in the Nigeria electoral processes, not because of any other thing but the money involved. To enrich their own pockets has always been their major targets not minding the consequences of such actions.
They say, “The weak who understands his weakness suddenly become strong.” Knowing fully well that most of us have this problem of greed in them, if the individuals involved in this act should try and control their strong urge for money by looking at the bigger picture here which is Biafra, we will all live to smile. Also, let them observe the message Brother Yun, tries to portray in one of his books “The Heavenly Man.” According to Yun “It is not great men who change the world, but weak men in the hands of a great God.” Let every Biafran always turn to Chiukwu Okike Abiama, our God to help us with our flaws. Okike (God the creator) is always there waiting for us to call upon him for assistance and if we can abandon the earthly things and look unto Him, the sky will always be our starting point and all our problems will be solved at once and the freedom we seek will be achieved without difficulty.
Solution: To stop the insanity, Biafrans should always look up to Chiukwu Okike Abiam for assistance and endeavor to boycott the Nigerian Elections as directed by the Supreme leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu no matter the challenges they may be facing, starting with that of Anambra State Guber which comes up on the 18th of November 2017, till a date for a referendum is given as this act will lead to what will get us Biafra.
Conclusion: Freedom is our indigenous right. Oblivious to this fact, The Nigeria government has continued to violet it in many ways through subjugation, assault, maiming, intimidation, denial and unjust killing of innocent Biafrans. All these have contributed to IPOB demanding for their exit from Nigeria. By the way, Biafra as a country had once existed but was forcefully annexed with Nigeria after a war was fought and they were suppressed by the then Nigerian Government through the help of the western world. However, The Indigenous People of Biafra need their absolute freedom so as to control their own affairs without the interference of other people whom they are forcefully merged with.
A better way to achieve this is through “Referendum” and since the Nigeria government that has no respect for human rights, keeps denying us this our indigenous right (Referendum), we must avoid their elections till a date for a referendum is granted to us. How then do we achieve this? First off, let's begin by abstaining from greed. Secondly getting the right information about our real identity and lastly not allowing hunger to push us into selling our birthrights. Then and only then we can achieve Biafra, our desired nation.
