Members of Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) in Ebonyi State Biafra land under the supreme leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra and Biafra Television has vowed to remain resolute and dedicated in the struggle for Biafra restoration both in the state and beyond as they kept on moving forward in creating and inaugurating new zones in the three senatorial district of the state.
On Sunday 15th October, 2017 was a date that gave birth to yet another two different long anticipated vibrant zones in Ebonyi north senatorial district, the newly zones are Ejiofogana zone 1 and Ejiofogana zone 2, the two zones were inaugurated at the same day and the ceremony witnessed massive turn out from the members of the zones as well as the members of the state executives and the senatorial principal officers.
The coordinator of Ebonyi North Senatorial district who lead the inauguration team to the zones, Mazi Ezike Wisdom appreciated the effort of the two coordinators of the zones and the members for their doggedness and high level of dedication in the struggle to restore Biafra, recall that ever since the supreme leader of IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu visited the state on 24th of July, 2017 there has never being a week or two that gone by without a new zone officially inaugurated in the state. While addressing the people, Mazi Ezike Wisdom urged the members to work with the coordinators of the new zones and do whatever they can in accordance with the laid down rules and regulations of IPOB to get Biafra restored.
Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya who is the state coordinator of IPOB while addressing the people educated them on the does and don’ts of IPOB under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu, he noted that to be a hardcore member of IPOB you must be dedicated in attending meetings both zonal, senatorial and state even beyond whenever needed, he equally urged the members to always participate actively in finance aspect of the struggle in paying their monthly dues and other levy, because it is through the little contributions made by the members of IPOB that is being used to run the day to day activities of the union, as we have no governmental financial sponsors in Biafra land not to talk of Nigeria.
Meanwhile, Nwada Okoro Ijeoma who is the coordinator of Ejiofogana zone 1 and Mazi Obasi Onyemaechi the coordinator of Ejiofogana zone 11 on their speech, promised to work hard in discharging their duties as coordinators of the zones and maintain healthy relationship with the members and the leadership of IPOB both in the state and beyond to achieve the needed result in the struggle. They equally advised them never to fear or give up in what they believe in, despite their threat or action to stop IPOB which they cannot stop.
Nevertheless, a member of Ejiofogana zone 1 who spoke on the condition of anonymous due to his position in the public service of the state lamented on the high level of corruption and decay in the Nigeria government and the state, he therefore pledged his readiness to work with IPOB in all ramifications to end this wickedness going on in this side of the world, as he equally urged the entire members and the comrades in the struggle to keep doing their best as victory is guaranteed in no distant time.
The state coordinator after administering the oath of allegiance and official inauguration of the zones further reminded them the need to work hard on their own ways to boycott the Anambra state election on Saturday 18 November, 2017 and the need to 'Sit At Home' and enjoy the Ofensala as instructed by the highest command of IPOB.
