The gospel for the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) in Ebonyi state is penetrating into the nooks and crannies of the state converting souls to join the struggle to restore Biafra.
The citizens of Ebonyi state which is known for their high level of zeal and doggedness in all they engage in doing are responding positively in the move to get Biafra restored, the Ebonyians have come to realize that the only way a common man will be free in the state and the whole of Africa continent is to join hands on deck and get Biafra restore.
It is on this note that the Indigenous People Of Biafra in Ebonyi state led by Mazi Igwe Ognonnaya vowed never to repose until everybody in all parts of the state will be carried along in the struggle. On this note, the state during the month of June and July, 2017 organized and inuagurated multiple zones which includes: Afikpo North LGA Zone, Lion Zone in Abakaliki LGA, Nwaezeyi Igbeagu Zone in Izzi LGA, Amikeaba Zone 1 in Ebonyi LGA Lion heart Zone in Abakaliki LGA, Amike Aba Zone 2 in Ebonyi LGA, these were the newly inaugurated zones between June and July, 2017 in Ebonyi state.
Meanwhile, the state on Sunday July 16, 2017 inuagurated a Family zone at Akebeligwe Isi-Eke in Izzi LGA, The Ebonyi state Media corresponded in the scene of the inuaguration Okorie Tobias, reports that the people of the area did not hide their joy as they came out in mass to welcome the team of the inauguration led by the state IPOB Coordinator Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya, he equally report that the indigens of the area lamented their ordeal as a result of the long time marginalization and neglect by the Nigeria government as well as the state government, complaining that they have no motorable road leading from the urban area to their village, no electricity, drinkable water or any other form of social amenities.
Akpu Emmanuel one of the elders in attendance, demanded to know what will be the position and place of the layman especially the uneducated ones if Biafra is restored, after he prayed for the supreme leader of IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the state IPOB coordinator told them that "Biafra is a nation that when restored all man will be equal, what is due for you and your community will be given to you, our struggle to be free is not based on self centered benefit but for the interest of all and sundry in Biafra land including the benefit of our future generations and the entire black people' the highest benefit you get when Biafra comes is that you will be free"
The coordinator of the newly inuagurated zone Mazi Augustine N. thanked the members of the state IPOB principal officers especially the coordinator for their hardwork in the state, making sure that Biafra get restored, he added that "I will not fail IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, I will work seriously with my colleague principal officers in this zone to ensure that Biafra is restored" He equally thanked the people for coming out in their great number to respond to the call to join Biafra restoration struggle powered by IPOB under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu.
