POETIC JUSTICE: HAND IN THE SUN by Onyebuchi Eucharia

Biafran Flag waving

The hand appeared
Like an ice
Standing firmly
To resist the rays
Of the sun

The killers hand
Filled with innocent blood
Filled with many atrocities
Still on proud heart
To take more lives
To commit more crimes
To ruin more lives

It is now, about time
To stop and take stock
Of crimes committed
Against a nation
A people
And to be ready
To rip the cursed fruits
 Of sorrows, and agony
You planted in your garden,
Now that the sun,
Take it part,
To melt the ice,
To liquid.

Thanks to the sun,
That increases,
As the day grow old,
Following the carpet,
On the floor,
To dance, a dance
 Of victory

Oh...yes!
You are to know this,
That the sun ,
Is so wide to be covered,
So huge to be blocked,
So powerful,
To be stopped,
From rising in the east.

Now, that you hear
And know the sound
Of the evening horn,
That come storm,
Come the rain,
Come huddles,
Come the rough road
The sun must rises,
And the light will shine,
The  light of Biafra,
The land of rising sun
