The leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra and the Director of Radio Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Tuesday 21st of March, 2017 openly declared that he has been able to identify just 4 out of his initial ideal 100 men to restore Biafra with. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu made this statement during an interview he granted to the family writers in the persons of Moses Agbo and Ugochukwu Olisakwe. In this interview, the Ohamadike himself once again reiterated on what this selected few ought to be. He said, and I quote: “For us to restore the kingdom of heaven on this very earth, the condition has to be right. I need men who are of good conduct. Men of equitable status. Men who don’t prevaricate and who will always be ready to lay down their lives for others. Those are the kind of men I need to win this battle! I need just hundred of them, only one hundred men who are pure at heart to restore Biafra with.” If you would still recall, Some months back before his arrest in Oct. 14th, 2015, the great leader, Dr. Nnamdi Kanu in one of his live broadcasts had once declared on air about this intended 100 men of valour needed for this divine project – Biafra restoration.

Also speaking with the newsmen (Family Writers press Journalists) led by Mazi Moses Agbo, Dr Kanu said that though it did not come as a surprise to him that such rebellion being perpetrated by some IPOB principal officers, would rear its ugly head especially at this point in time to destabilize what we are doing, but expressed his disappointment over the misconduct of those officers who had allowed the devil to use them as a tool to achieve its aim, although their efforts to put up the rogue radio station was quashed at the onset. According to him (Kanu), such drastic action they took by launching the outlaw Radio Biafra International and their total disregard of a direct order from the IPOB Head of Authority was not in any way, shape or form, a normal decorum. But then, “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope.” – Martin Luther King Jr. Because “sometimes” in this life, “when you get disappointment it makes you stronger.” – David Rudisha Such is the case of IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu as of this point in time.

The struggle for the restoration of Biafra must continue! Nothing will ever stop the emergence of the sovereign State of Biafra. As the Director himself, the Ohamadike one of Biafra Land once said on air and I quote, “Nothing can stop it! No human being born of a woman can ever stop the coming of Biafra, the person is yet to be born!” Speaking further on this very issue, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said that IPOB is still flooded with needless mixed multitude, some of whom are spies planted by the enemies of Biafra to monitor our activities and to fan the members of discord but still reemphasized on this very issue of 100 men of valour needed for the restoration of Biafra, saying he has been able to identify just 4 persons worthy to stand by him in this struggle for Independence.

This open declaration by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu De Great himself does not by any reason implied that IPOB members in particular and indeed all Biafrans who are committed and devoted towards the quest for the restoration of Biafra has gone unnoticed to Nnamdi Kanu De Great. No, God forbid! Nnamdi Kanu has from time to time issued his praises to Biafrans for their resoluteness in a vehement stand that Biafra must be restored. It is a pure truth that many gallant Biafrans have even lost their lives in this great requisition for Biafra restoration. But as it is typical with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in being blunt at saying the truth, he is challenging all the devoted Biafrans anywhere in the world to increase their efforts in the struggle no matter where they have individually gotten to with the struggle today. However, the naked truth remains that Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has gotten just 4 out of 100 men he is expecting to pull down the world of Jericho called Nigeria with. By this declaration, every Biafran whether elite or commoner, whether poor or rich, whether educated or uneducated, whether politician or non-politician, whether captain of industries or petty trader, whether resident at home or in Diaspora, we should ask ourselves "what are we waiting for to pick our spots in this blessed number of one hundred men of valour?

I am personally happy that this open declaration came this time around to open our eyes that the mixed multitude at IPOB disposal at the moment does not mean that the number is already completed. That is to say that if I add more effort in the struggle, I can still become one of the one hundred men of valour. I want to also use this opportunity to say congratulations to these 4 persons already gotten by the IPOB great leader. It is not easy for the 4 men of valour to have emerged awaiting the remaining 96 men of valour in the vast population of the most populous indigenous people in the Africa continent known as Biafrans. Permit me to slightly praise these men of valour whom in my own opinion is likely to be among the 4 men of valour already gotten by Nnamdi Kanu De Great. These honest comrades; I mustn't name here, but believe you me that you all are the men after my heart. I envy you, and I wish to be one of you.

Greater are known by their structural ideologies; those four men who are among the 4 men already gotten by Nnamdi Kanu who said whether dead or alive, we must stand with Nnamdi Kanu in synergy until Biafra is restored; they have been today, crowned great men, and history will never forget them. The rest of us whose names are not yet in the number, why can't we strive and pick a slot in the remaining 96 slots available. The struggle to restore Biafra is a divine task that must be done whether anybody in the world likes it or not. Joy will smile on your faces should you eventually become one of the one hundred men who will stand in synergy to restore Biafra with Nnamdi Kanu. For us in IPOB, it is still either Biafra flag is raised above the horizon flying without stopping or we are lowered into the grave. I rest my case.
