Umuchiukwu Writers are welcoming all eminent Biafrans, lovers of freedom, readers and followers all over the world to this week’s news analysis as brought to you by Ugochinyere Onyechere; one of the Umuchiukwu writer’s correspondence. We urge you to remain focus and never to relent in this struggle to get our lovely nation restored. This week is no doubt accompanied with lots of happenings and events; both in the zoo called Nigeria, and the world at large. Believe you me; you will love our packages for the week. It’s a pleasure having you all in this very week. Actually, a lot had happened in the week, and we shall unveil them in its analytical ways.
Indigenous People of Biafra records another huge success; one of its kind in the human history as never been since the commencement of this struggle to restore the blessed nation of Biafra. The leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, alongside David Nwawuisi, Benjamine Madubugwu and Chidiebere Onwudiwe appeared before the Federal High Court Abuja on the 1st March 2017. In the rulings of the presiding Justice Binta Nyako, quashed 6(six) charges of the 11(eleven) charges against Nnamdi Kanu which includes charges 3,5,7,9,10 and 11. In these charges, the one of managing unlawful society was recorded among those quashed, as the judge states that IPOB is a lawful group, therefore stating that the case against Nnamdi Kanu lacks merit, and has no evidence to convict him of any crime; while the case was being adjourned to 20th March 2017.
A magistrate court in Igweocha (Port-Harcourt) has on 3rd March granted bail to 35 Biafrans among 45 who were arrested at the trump’s solidarity rally on the 20th day of January 2017. According to magistrate JAJA, `` I have no reason to detain them, they are free of crime and they been declared lawful organization, I hereby order for their unconditional release. We are waiting to hear and see justice propane for the release of the remaining 10 who were remanded.
Kingsley Mathew Essien, the 17-year-old IPOB member, who was allegedly shot dead by Nigerian soldiers during the group's Trump solidarity march in Igweocha (Port Harcourt) of Biafra Land January 20th, has been laid to rest in his hometown, Ikot Nyoho village Ukpom in Ikono LGA, Akwa Ibom. During his burial, some Akwa Ibom elders who spoke in their native language sent a powerful message to the Nigerian Government and security operatives. They vowed that killing their son has only erected the hunger more to fight for the restoration of Biafra.
A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, Wednesday, has on 1st March 2017 struck out the allegation of management of unlawful society and five other counts slammed against the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, and three others by the Federal Government. Counsel to Kanu, Ifeanyi Ejiofor had raised preliminary objection challenging the charge slammed against them. The counsel had argued that Biafra is not an unlawful organization. He asserted that Biafra has a presence in many countries of the world. Consequently, the trial Judge, Justice Binta Nyako struck out six of the counts and upheld five. The court held that the six counts struck did not call for trial due to lack of evidence in the proof of evidence filed by the prosecution. The court further held that six of the 11 charges disclosed no prima facie case and the elements of offenses against the defendants. The struck out counts were 3, 6, 7, 9, 10 and 11. The six counts relate to management of the unlawful organization, intention to manufacture bomb, improper importation of a radio transmitter.
In what seems like a wake-up to some Biafran elites, Tuesday being 28th February 2017, Soludo led other Igbo leaders to visit the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu at the Kuje Prison Abuja. Soludo has revealed why they visited Kanu. The former governor of the CBN, Charles Soludo has given reasons why he visited the leader of the IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu. Soludo who spoke to journalists after the visit to Kanu at Kuje Prison said the act was in solidarity with the detained IPOB. Professor Soludo also asked the Nigerian government to release Mazi Nnamdi and with an immediate effect. Biafrans are watching closely because we do not trust them. Recall that professor Soludo while addressing some Igbos last year, categorically stated it clear that Nnamdi Kanu will become political debates in their 2019 election. Biafrans shall acknowledge their moves if only they are not playing the drama as quoted by Soludo.
No doubts; Nigeria is a country of savages and animals; Mazi Nnamdi Kanu thunders in court 1st march 2017. In the plight to prove to the world that the contraption called Nigeria has only been designed injustice, the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra exploded in the court premises by loudly stating that Nigeria is meant for savages and animals. This is because he (Nnamdi Kanu) knows that justice can never be gotten from the Nigerian court. The presiding justices Binta declined Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from speaking or rather testify against the Nigerian government.
Of course; because Nigeria is a lawless country, most known clergymen in the contraption are corrupt to their detriment. They have kept mute, mopping foolishly because they don’t want their evil deeds exposed. A dedicated pastor who has dimmed it fit to speak up has during the week blasted some known and popular clergymen in the zoo for their weak opposition to the Nigeria’s unfairness towards the citizens, and for their silence over the killing of masses in the contraption they called Nigeria. The General Overseer of Mountain of Liberation and miracle ministry, Dr. Chris Okafor, has lambasted Pastor Tunde Bakare, the Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, Pastor Enoch Adeboye as well as other politicians over the current hardship being felt in Nigeria. Okafor attacked the men of God during Sunday service at his church. He angrily chastised the church leadership in the country and wondered why they were so quiet in the face of mounting confusion, recession, destruction, oppression and killing of Christians in most parts of the country.
Charity they say begins at home. Imagine the acting president of the contraption called Nigeria; Yemi Osibanjo pressurizing the inspector general of police, Idris Ibrahim to be sacked if the two kidnapped German Archaeologists, Peter Breunig, and Johannes Behringer are not rescued; while thousands and millions keep missing in their own country. Goodness me! Something is really wrong with this contraption. Their own citizen matters not. They worship foreigners as though they are God. He is not even saying anything concerning the xenophobia attacks on Nigerians in South Africa. This is real madness.
Another season of the drama, all put together to deny the death of the pedophile that once ruled the contraption called Nigeria. This time, from his kitchen based wife Aisha Buhari. The wife of the tyrant president Muhammadu Buhari has cried out regarding the efforts of some cabals that has stopped her from seeing her husband the first Lady, has again registered her displeasure on how some named 4 Aso Rock Cabals have extended their influence on the President even at sick bed at the United Kingdom, fresh report according to Punch Newspapers suggests.
It’s obvious that acting president Yemi Osibanjo has resorted into distracting Biafrans with his pretense actions; one of its kinds in the Nigerian histories. Following his stances, Nigeria's Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has directed international oil firms operating in the Niger-Delta region to relocate their headquarters to the states where they operate in order to reduce tension in the host communities. He also urged Minister of State, Petroleum, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu to begin the process of engaging the International Oil Companies on the way forward to actualize the directive. It’s too late, though the oil belongs to us, while the headquarters belongs to the north. We thank Chiukwu Abiama because we are recovering our lost inheritance.
Looming war, as a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District between 2003 and 2017, Senator Ibrahim Tsauri notes that President Muhammadu Buhari could be impeached if he is confirmed incapacitated. He noted that, “The constitution says that if the President is certified incapacitated, he can be impeached whether he decides to resign or not.” Senator Tsauri, however, told the news source, that it does not matter how long the president stays out of the country in as much as the transmitted power to the Vice President. The question is if Nigeria is answerable to any constitution; hope it’s the same constitution they have failed to obey in prevaricating cases.
Indeed, Chiukwu-Okike-Abiam is working on our behalf. Some hoodlums now recognize the glory of Okike in our struggle. Members of the House of Representatives, Ehiogie West-Idahosa, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari, to discuss and negotiate the Biafran question with the supreme leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, warning that suppressing alternative views in the name of enforcing the law makes them more dangerous. He made the call in Abuja while addressing the media on the issue of disrespect for the rule of law exhibited by the Buhari-led government. West-Idahosa said that based on the situation Nigerians find themselves today, the question of Biafra cannot be forced away; stressing that the right to self-determination is a universal phenomenon that must be respected. The Nigerian government is so daft; they do not read the handwriting on the wall.
Sometimes, I perceive a rigorous notation in the life of an African man. They leave their burning houses to chase after rats. Some people are so worried about xenophobia in far away South Africa while people back in the contraption called Nigeria are dying on different occasions. Elder statesman and Ijaw National Leader, Chief Edwin Clark, has noted that the policies of the current administration have made life more difficult for Nigerians living in Nigeria than those complaining of xenophobic attacks in South Africa. He said, “We complain of xenophobia in South Africa, what do we have in Nigeria?” Clark spoke when eminent leaders of the South-South and South-East geo-political zones met at his residence in Apapa, Lagos in a closed-door meeting yesterday. He further called on the federal government to be just and fair to all ethnic and geo-political zones in the country.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, says President Muhammadu Buhari is neither critically ill nor in life threatening situation and there is no cause for alarm. The minister reiterated this position on Monday in Umuahia at the second town hall meeting for the South East and the launch of national reorientation campaign, “Change Begins With Me’’ in Abia. The minister, who was asked to tell the country about the health condition of the president and whether there was a need for a regular briefing on his health stressed that there was no reason for such briefings. I can assure you that President Muhammadu Buhari went to London, in order to make free and undisruptable calls. Some fools will be deteriorated at the essence of blowing up such lies against the pedophile; anyways, whether he is sick or not, Biafrans do not give a damn.
The world at large is now aware that the contraption called Nigeria is at the brink of collapse. This was one of the prophesies of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra; Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Radio Biafra. He stated that a time shall come when the world will see Nigeria as a failed state that would never escape destruction. Recently a former USA ambassador to Nigeria and South Africa, Princeton N. Lyman, has stated it clear that the contraption called Nigeria is on the verge of collapse. The ambassador while speaking at the at the Achebe Colloquium at Brown University; at a conference organized in the memory of Chinua Achebe, that Nigeria is on the brink of collapse. It is a promise; hence Nigeria killed and wasted our gallant beloved brethren, they shall inevitably face the consequences.
In the contraption called Nigeria, the inhabitants have decorated monkeys; adding to what Reno Omokri said, all monkeys are the same. Reno Omokri in response to Rotimi Amaechi, he stated that Amaechi is a decorated monkey; in other words, for the fact that he is decorated does not mean that he is not a monkey. According to Omokri, “It has been brought to my attention the attack on my person by the Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi after I exposed his lies with regards to the figure of $49.8 billion which he claimed former President Goodluck Jonathan pilfered from the national treasury”. I will never, ever exchange insults with a lowlife. A lowlife with a ministerial position is still a lowlife just as a decorated monkey is still a monkey. Other than holding one government position or the other, Amaechi has never been associated with any private success so he is very insecure when people challenge his unenviable record in government with facts” he concluded.
Amnesty International has condemned the brutal killing of Biafran demonstrators in the South East and South South zones of the country. They have called on the Nigerian government to respect the rule of law and stop using excessive force against demonstrators. Lucy Freeman senior researcher for Amnesty International in London speaking to the London International Business times said their organization has sent correspondence to Nigeria who has documented instances of the Army using excessive and brutal force against innocent civilian demonstrators. The Nigerian murderous security operatives have on several occasions, jointly killed and kidnap Biafrans. We are calling also on other human right organizations to speak up.
To before warn is to before arm; The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has advised people of the South-East against taking serious the words of former President Olusegun Obasanjo’s regarding Presidency. Obasanjo had said, “Irrespective of the thinking of the people ahead of 2019, I personally think that South-East should have a go at the Presidency too.” But Fayose in his reaction said the Ibogun-born politician, who had ruled Nigeria both as a Military Head of State and civilian President was only looking for relevance. No cause for alarm; Biafrans have already exempted themselves from the corruptible election of Nigeria. Olusegun Obasanjo is wasting his time.
A disturbing news from sources says that barely after two weeks a tanker fell, igniting a fire that razed a filling station and over 10 houses and 15 vehicles in Onitsha, another fire incident last Sunday evening razed Ekene Dili Chukwu Industrial Cluster, destroying machines, goods and raw materials worth over N2 billion. According to sources, no life was lost, over 10 people involved in rescue mission during the incident sustained various degrees of injuries, while assorted industrial machines, numbering over 50, belonging to the members of the cluster were burnt beyond repairs. May Chiukwu Abiama help them and comfort them for the loss.
Signs of going home for Biafrans; the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has released an organogram for the constitution of the proposed Biafra nation. The IPOB said the release of the organogram is to showcase the type of leadership IPOB plans for Biafra after its actualization. The spokesperson Emma Powerful said:
"The diagram stipulates the directorates, commissions, and Agencies in the new government and this will be part of the constitution of the Biafra government more are coming."
"The diagram stipulates the directorates, commissions, and Agencies in the new government and this will be part of the constitution of the Biafra government more are coming."
The organogram showed the state National Legislature comprised of Anang, Efik, Idoma/Igede, Ala-Igbo, Isoko, Izon, Urhobo, Anioma-Igbo, Ibibio, Igala, Ikwere-Igbo, Itesekiri, and Ogoni. The organogram has proved the effective government of Biafra successful, following the ways it was organized and designed by the reputable officers of IPOB. To view it fully, visit the Biafran site.
The SSS has vowed to go after politicians who utter what it described as "hate speeches" in public places. In a statement released during the weekend, the SSS said it “observed with total dismay, the inciting utterances of some political actors whose activities heat up the polity.”
It also expressed its "disappointment with these politicians who, in their desperation, are engaged in hate speeches and even sponsorship of radio campaign jingles when the electoral umpire has not authorized such campaigns in line with the Electoral Act.” This is another strategy adopted by these wolfs in sheep clothing to hunt and demoralize those who dimmed it fit to correct the present administration that has all these while proven to be on an anti-corruption-war; rather opposing political enemies and opponents. They should arrest the corrupt leaders to prove their sincerity. The Senator representing Bayelsa East, Ben Murray-Bruce, has stated that a cabal has hijacked the government from President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo. According to him, Buhari and Osinbajo are not the leaders of Nigeria as people may see, noting that some persons were actually ruling the country behind them. Bruce said unless the cabal was flushed out, Nigeria would continue to retrogress while the economy would equally sink. Technically, Mazi Bruce was right; owing to the fact that the British government has been the pilots and captains of Nigeria right from inception, using the illiterate north against civilized South. This is unacceptable, that is why Biafra must be restored to put an end to such mess.
The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has hailed the revoking of the license a top judge handling the case of its leader and Director of Radio Biafra, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, describing his sanction as ‘nemesis catching the wrong doer’. IPOB in a statement by its Media and Publicity Secretary, Mr. Emma Powerful titled “ECOWAS Court in Chaos, Another enemy of Nnamdi Kanu disgraced out of the Judiciary, a sign of warning to what is to come for the Nigerian judges” said that the judge was removed in his native Liberia on allegations of fraud. Recall that the judge has been hobnobbing with the Nigerian Government to pervert justice against Nnamdi Kanu and now nemesis has caught up with him in his native home Liberia where he was removed and his license revoked for twelve months.
Everyday Biafra keeps gaining grounds and momentums in all way round. It was a great and memorable event in Igweocha(Rivers state) on the 26th of February 2017 as the Indigenous People Of Biafra(IPOB) in Igweocha expanded the Family in a lovely and peaceful atmosphere. The event which the first kickoff in Eleme at exactly 12:15 pm attracted the presence of many people in the town who trooped out in mass to make sure their zone (ELEME ZONE ONE) is inaugurated by the Igweocha Inauguration team. The inauguration team was led by Hon. Prince and Comrade Ogechiukwu of Igweocha IPOB province. May Chiukwu-Okike-Abiam add more numbers to them? Iseeeeee!
