KEYPOINTS:

It will be nice to urge Nigeria National Assembly to speedily facilitate approval  of the federal government request to borrow $30 billion from China. Failure do to this will surmount to disguised-fraud base on the federal government stylised tax medium called STAMP-DUTY which is being used to unduly syphon money from poor Nigerians and Biafrans on daily basis.

The Federal Government through the Central Bank of Nigeria, on Tuesday, 19th January 2916 imposed stamp duty of N50 on bank customers for money received into their accounts.

The CBN stated, “As part of efforts to boost its revenue base, the federal government of Nigeria is exploring revenue opportunities in the non-oil sectors especially taxes and rates. It is in recognition of this fact that banks and other financial institutions are enjoined to support government’s revenue drive through compliance with the provisions of the Stamp Duties Act, LFN 2004 as reinforced by the court judgement in Suit No FHC/L/CS/1710/2013. In this regard, the CBN pursuant to the provisions of its enabling laws, hereby issues this circular to all DMBs other financial institutions.

According to reports gathered, majority of Nigerians have been in the alarm that federal government have been deducting their money unduly and inappropriately. When I visited Diamond bank at Ikwere Road Mile 3 Portharcourt, most of the customers complained that they wake today morning with greet of message on their phones from saying 'Stamp-Duty' deduction. Some of the deductions records from #250 to #500.

Meanwhile, I went to lodge a complain of aforesaid deduction which summed to #500 in two months when I clearly made no transaction logically to fit to same billed amount. It has never been like this until this regime took over sit of power.

The height of fraud, killings, kidnapping, torture, oppression, suppression, persecution, hunger, inflation and massacre is at increase every day by day. And the government of the is not transparent to account what all these money taking from poor citizens are meant for, despite their bogus budgets. Is purely criminal when money deduction is not made according to requirements and what it is used for is not known by average person.

Citing statement made by Minister of information towards aforesaid $30 billion approval from the National Assembly, both Chambers should quickly facilitate the approval in order to enable presidency reduce their fraudulent attention from ordinary Nigerians who has no food nor drink to quench their thirst on daily basis. If syphoning has come this far that means all prophecies made by Dr. Nnamdi Kanu over Nigeria is achieved.

Again, consequently, If these deductions is mainly targeted at Biafrans, I must say it will be a regrettable one because majority of commercial banks will loose their patronage from operators (Biafrans).
