You are a super slave once you are a Biafran and
from South-east and South-south, and claiming one Nigeria. It means you are a
slave to Fulani people of Northern Nigerian. That was the essence of Femi
Fani-Kayode’s words when he declared: “A child who does not know the event of things
that occurred before he or she was born, will forever remain a child."
His meaning is not far from one Nnamdi Kanu, leader
of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Director of Radio Biafra and
Biafra Television, always said: "Anyone of them (Igbo people and indeed
Biafrans) that goes for political position in Nigeria will always come back
disgraced and shamed”.
His reason was that they would become subservient to
the so-called “born-to-rule” Northerners, the Fulani people. To do that, they
must alienate themselves from their people. In the end they would be humiliated
and possibly sent to jail, because one day that trait of a Biafran, of independence
and freedom would show.
Kanu has seen enough and heard enough from Nigeria’s
history and knew what he was talking about. He knew that Ahmadu Bello, the Sadauna
of Sokoto once declared in 1957 that: "We in the North take it that
Nigerian Unity is only a British intention for the country they created. It is
not for us.” Few days before Independence in 1960, he proudly boasted that he
had accomplished what his great grand-father Uthman Dan Fodio could not accomplish
and that he would “dip the Quran in the sea”. Kanu knew the North had been
working at that mission from his time until now when Buhari has become their point-man.
After Independence, Bello threw another bombshell: “The
new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grand-father Utman
Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We must use the
minorities in the North as willing tools and the South as conquered territory
and ever allow them to rule over us, and never allow them to have control over
their own future."
The current persecution of Ike Ekweremadu as Deputy
Senate President is a clear case in mind. He has served the zoo (Nigeria) well,
perhaps cutting down many who profess their Biafranness or Igbonness. Now, he
wants to establish his independence from those who have used him to cut others
down. But will not let him. They will find other senseless Biafrans to cut him
down to size. Rochas Okorocha, the Hausa Governor of Imo state is now playing
that role.
It will get more interesting in the coming years and
months when Okorocha will get his own treatment. Then he will know that they
meant it when they declared: “We will never allow them to rule over us, and
never allow them to have control over their own future."
This piece is to remind all Biafrans that they are
nothing before the eyes of Fulani bloodsuckers. Play politics as much as you
want to; attain any position you may under one-Nigeria, still you are nothing
but a super slave. You will eventually come back disgraced. Biafra is the
answer.
