Biafrans are in great excitement at the moment following reports from Kuje prison in Abuja, Nigerian capital, that their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, made a great speech last Friday, July 29, as he sponsored this year’s football competition in the prison.
The Biafrans said he has shown leadership trait and a good example like the Biblical Joseph that it is not possible to keep a good man down. As the sponsor of the competition, the honour was given to Kanu to make the opening-speech and he spoke so enchantingly that other inmates were greatly enthused.
As a lover of freedom, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Director of Radio Biafra and Biafra Television had said his major purpose for sponsoring the year’s competition was for the inmates to have freedom and relate with one another better.
The competition, which is an annual event to foster peaceful co- existence among inmates and the prison officers, had ex-leader of the inmates, Sivan Emeka, showing appreciation to the IPOB leader for his love and concern for the inmates.

Among Biafrans that commented on the development was Chukwudi Ofoma, a high official in the IPOB international leadership. He told Biafra Choice Writers that their leader has shown to the world that it is never possible to keep a good man down. “Nnamdi Kanu is God’s chosen instrument for humanity’ he said ‘try as hard as you can, you will never be able to keep him from his destiny”.

Carol Munday, a British lady that has been in the vanguard of Biafra restoration struggle for years, added her voice to the admiration of Kanu: “I love our director Nnamdi Kanu so much, no matter where he is, he inspires others and thinks of others’ well-being”.<!-- adsense -->
