“You will hear from us in 72 hours” Niger Delta Avengers tell Governors in Biafraland

Niger Delta Avengers have warned some governors in Biafraland that they have just 74 hours to release Biafrans in military/police custodies in their states or risk devastating attacks. The Avengers gave the “last warning’ to seven of the governors to free Biafrans being held in police and military custodies in their states within 47 hours.

General Mudoch Agbinibo, spokesperson of the freedom fighting outfit, signed the statement. According to the group – which has long vowed to reduce Nigeria’s oil production to zero, through its “operation red economy” – vowed that if not done the governors will hear from them.

Some of the governors it specifically mentioned were Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State; Willie Obiano of Anambra State; Seriake Dickson of Bayelsa and Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State. others include Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State; Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State; and Rochas Okorocha of Imo State.

“We request the immediate release of all Biafrans held in your various Police/Military Custody, you are hereby given 72 hours to release them or risk your convoys, police station, military base and government offices being attacked,” wrote Agbinibo.

He also dampened the hope of one-Nigerianists that had high hopes that the group would soon commence negotiations with Nigeria government. He said: “We are not negotiating with anybody and nobody is representing us.

He also promised to release a video clip of their armaments within 48 hours so that Nigeria military and government can prepare well, so as not to claim in future that it was taken unawares. “All strike team are already in position awaiting command” he concluded.
