For Biafra Choice Writers
Leadership of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has
made public its intelligence information on concluded plan by Directorate of
State Security Services (DSS) to have its Leader, Nnamdi Kanu killed before or
during his next appearance in court.
The plot was finalized yesterday, Saturday, April 9,
2016, with some deadly members of Boko Haram, who were released from detention
for that singular purpose. According to IPOB leadership in a communication it
made with Biafra Choice Writers, a Boko Haram member has been commissioned to
kill Kanu. This new plan is the latest in numerous other plans the body had
finalized, waiting for green light to strike.
IPOB is well aware that the plan to stage a mock
rescue operation with the intent on killing Kanu in the ensuing melee, while
IPOB would be accused of being responsible for staging the attack.
IPOB leadership said it was using the opportunity to
alert the world on the latest evil plan to kill Nnamdi Kanu, which Nigerian
President Muhammadu Buhari had sanctioned before he jetted out on his latest
international junket. They claimed the latest visit of former Nigerian
president, Olusegun Obasanjo to Aso Rock, Nigeria seat of power was not
unconnected with the latest plan.
The Biafran leadership said they were a peaceful
people and that they did not need to employ violence in their agitation for a
free Biafra since their quest was legitimate with compelling arguments that
have melted compassionate hearts all over the world. IPOB also claimed that “people
of goodwill all over the world were identifying with our course, seeing the terrible
plight of Biafrans in Nigeria”.
The Biafrans added, however, that they were not
surprised at Nigerian government desperation to tag IPOB with violence since
the trial it was subjecting their leader, Nnamdi Kanu, to has become apparent
to the world that it was a sham and sheer persecution. According to IPOB, the latest
lie by DSS in a circulated statement to the Nigerian media that IPOB was
responsible for the attack on Fulani herdsmen in Enugu State was part of the evil
plan to tag IPOB violent.
A cross section of Biafrans who spoke to The Choice
Writers early this money said it was cheap propaganda by the Nigerian DSS to
claim that it was IPOB that killed the Fulani herdsmen in Enugu. They want the
DSS to explain to the world why they have not made a press statement on the
genocide killings in Benue, Enugu, Delta, and Rivers states. Biafrans
insisted that they were a peaceful people who did not need to employ violence
in their legitimate aspiration for a free Biafra.
