Past London protest
For many Biafrans, the struggle for the independent state of Biafra is taking clear turns for the better. The latest development, which is gladdening their hearts, is the fact that more Members of British Parliament (PM) have bought into the struggle, and will be joining in their next protest coming up in London.
Come Wednesday, March 2, Biafrans will step onto the United Kingdom’s (UK) House of Commons – Parliament Square, London to enact another earth-shaking protest. The last Biafran protest at the Vatican on Sunday, February 28, was hugely successful as Pope Francis accorded the Biafran people unveiled recognition. Already, the African Hitler, Nigeria’s Muhammadu Buhari, and his government officials were said to have been unsettled by the news.
The London protest, tagged: “Free Nnamdi Kanu/Free Biafra” will take place from 10am to 5pm. Some UK Parliamentarians that are supportive to the Biafran course like MP Angela Rayner, will be with the Biafrans as they protest. Biafrans, friends of Biafra, and all people of goodwill living around UK, and around the world are been invited by the Biafran leadership to join in the protest.
Emeka Onyebuchi, National Coordinator of the UK, told The Biafra Telegraph that freedom, liberty and restoration of Biafra is what they (the people of Biafra) were seeking, and that they were determined to get it.
“All Biafrans in the UK and all over Europe, and people of goodwill, lovers of freedom, are enjoined to attend and show solidarity with the restoration of Biafra and the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu – the prisoner of conscience” he said.
Since the abduction of the Biafran leader last October, the Biafrans have been staging demonstrations in different locations in London. But they have promised that the current protest they are planning would turn out to be the mother of all protests by them so far.
