That Adamawa People in Nigeria were originally from
Cameroon is not in contest. The records are there.
On 11th February 1961, Britain conducted a REFERENDUM in
Cameroon to determine whether a particular territory would join neighbouring
Nigeria or remain in Cameroon.
Interestingly, the choice of which side to go, was drawn
on Religious lines. The Muslim Majority Northern Cameroons saw a majority of
60% in favour of joining Nigeria, whilst the Christian-majority Southern
Cameroon saw 70.5% in favour of integration with Cameroon. Northern Cameroon
officially became part of Nigeria on 1 June, whilst Southern (Christians)
Cameroon became part of Cameroon on 1 October. The part that voted in favour of
Nigeria, is today ADAMAWA STATE.
Ironically, the PDP Presidential aspirant in the
forthcoming Election, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was born a Cameroonian in 1946
before they migrated to Nigeria in 1961 via REFERENDUM. Because he is not a
Nigerian by birth, by implications shouldn't have been screened by INEC, to
participate in an Election to occupy the number 1 seat of Power because he is most
likely to make policies against Nigeria in favour of his first country Cameroon.
This is what even the fraudulent and criminal document called the Constitution
of the Federal Republic of NIGERIA stipulates.
"Section 131, of the Constitution states that – A
person shall be qualified for election to the office of President if – HE IS A
CITIZEN OF NIGERIA BY BIRTH."
Having taken us through this lane, the question is; Why
is Atiku Abubakar who is a beneficiary of a REFERENDUM IN HIS MOTHER LAND
(Cameroon) kicking against same opportunity to the people of BIAFRA who want to
choose between staying in Nigeria and having an Independent State of Biafra?
Why would a country as big as Nigeria circumvent her own
Constitution at the slightest blow of the wind by allowing a foreigner to
contest the seat of Presidency?
When the Leader of Indigenous People Of BIAFRA calls
Nigeria a "failed State or a Zoo country", People accuse him of not
being patriotic but he is saying the Truth, otherwise, how can a supposedly
Federal Republic be ran by a radical and uneducated FULANI Islamists whose only
vision is to massacre the Christians and occupy their land. They have no good
intention for Nigeria nor any other part of the world where they also occupy.
The Indigenous People Of Biafra, have studied the laid
down rules of The United Nations on 'Peaceful means of separating from a failed
Nation'. What are the pains of the Indigenous People Of Biafra and why do they
want to leave the satanic entity called Nigeria? Is their demand in conformity
with UN requirements? The answer is, Yes and we have numerous reasons but to
mention a few here.
Firstly, there has been a continuous unmitigated Ethnic
Cleansing going on from the day NIGERIA was amalgamated, directed at Biafrans. Secondly,
there are acts of Terrorism from the Northern part of the country. Thirdly, there
is very high degree of Religious intolerance by the people from the Northern
part of the country. Fifthly, there is premeditated Genocide going on by the
people from the Northern part of the country against Biafrans.
Again, there is Political Nepotism in Government of
Nigeria approved by the people from the Northern part of the country. Equally,
there is this virus of tribalism and chauvinism bond amongst the people from
the Northern part of the country against BIAFRANS. Again, there is Economic strangulation
against the people of BIAFRA. All of these necessitated the hunger for a safe
country where Respect for human Life is sacrosanct.
Like the Atiku and the people of Adamawa State in
Nigeria, we deserve Equal measure.
