The UN voting of 6th December was one of the amusements
voting that one would be forced to asked what truly is Nigeria foreign policy
position. Earlier before now, we understand Nigeria’s effort towards supporting
anything anti-Israel posture. Nigeria being Islamic state has been championing
boycott of anything Israel in Africa and the world. Needless to dive into rich
evidences of history on the subject matter, the contemporary events have shown
the how desperate the Nigerian state is towards her anti-Semitic posture.
What is surprising in the whole suicide mission of the
Nigerian state in the ragtag journey is the fact that Nigeria as a weakest
state in all fronts doesn’t have what it takes to embark on such expensive
journey. Politically, she is internally divided and yet interested in embarking
on such suicide path.
Economically she
is worst in the world that the last rating on her economic status is depraving,
yet she is engaging on such expensive path. What of on the side of military
prowess? Absolutely none to compare with the state of Israel whose military is
sophisticated and with the state of art arsenals.
What one would get worried to is what is boosting Nigeria
mind towards engaging on such diplomatic confrontation on the state of Israel.
All results at our disposal have shown that nothing is driving Nigerian state
towards this than Islamic ideology geared towards annihilating anything that represents
non-Islam. Israel should brace up to this reality to understand that Iran,
Pakistan and Turkey are in the same path with Nigeria to hurt her. But what is
certain here is that Biafran people will never be party to such evil game,
neither will they support such.
