The Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), have on this day 19th April 2018, embarked on a peaceful demonstration at the Pall Mall Street, Westminster, about 650 meters from Buckingham Palace, as President Muhammadu Buhari meets with the British Prime minister Theresa May, Queen Elizabeth II, and other heads of state.

The three days protest as was scheduled by IPOB has kicked off starting with today the 19th to last through 21st April 2018.

The protest was triggered as a result of massive killings and other crimes against humanity committed against the Indigenous population of Biafrans by the Nigerian military under the order of the present Nigerian lead government.

Also, the protesters are calling the Nigerian government led by President Muhammadu Buhari to with immediate affect release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB who has been missing since Nigeria military invaded his home. During the invasion of his home, armless and innocent Biafrans were massacred in their hundreds. Self-determination is a universal law which is enshrined under UN charter law for every Indigenous people to participate in, and Nigeria government is also a signatory to it.

As is stands, the protest is still ongoing. The Nigerian president and other heads of states are currently being received by Theresa May, the British PM and Patricia Scotland, the secretary-general of the Commonwealth, at the official opening of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM 2018).
