The Indigenous People of Biafra under the supreme leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has successfully carried out her rerun accreditation in Ebonyi state Biafra land on Wednesday 10, 2018 in Ebonyi south senatorial district.
The exercise was carried out for three days in all the three senatorial districts in the state, it commenced on Monday 8, 2018 in Ebonyi North senatorial district, the members of IPOB in Ebonyi North which is the heart of Abakaliki Ebonyi state came out in their large number and was accredited on Monday, the activities kick-off by 10:00am in the morning and ended by 10:00pm in the night. The exercise at a time around 1:00pm on Monday became so burdened due to the continuous muttering of the crowd awaiting to be accredited by the officials who were in charge of it, though it was shortly resolved the moment solution was profound to abate the situation and all who came for the exercise was successfully accredited.
The second day which was Thursday 9, January 2018 the team of the accreditation went to Ebonyi Central senatorial district as plan and scheduled but could not hold due to the fact that the people of the jurisdiction complained they were not fully prepared for the exercise for the day due to late information delivery concerning the exercise, they complained that the information reached them very late and they is no how they will allow it to hold since many of their colleagues were not available for the accreditation. The senatorial district coordinator Mazi Chinedu Nwoba equally made it known to the accreditation team that they will be ready for the exercise on the first week of February, 2018 to enable them put their house in order.
On Wednesday 10, 2018 the exercise came to an end in Ebonyi South senatorial district, the home jurisdiction of Ebonyi state IPOB coordinator Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya, as well as the incubate governor of the state David Nwaeze Umahi. The exercise wanted to be disrupted the same way it happened at Ebonyi central due to low outcome of members but was later conducted successfully when the people realized what may be the implication knowing that in IPOB under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, it is command and control. The Ebonyi state coordinator whose unit is Ugwulangwu was the first to be accredited following the senatorial district coordinator Rev. Okoh Elijah Okpara whose unit is Uburu having meet with the full requirements to be a full member of IPOB both financially updated. Others who came for the exercise were also accredited.
The accreditation is an objective of the group to gather the data of all their members both in the state and beyond, many have done their own while some are yet to do so, this exercise will help for easy dissemination of information and identification now and when Biafra is totally being restored, the exercise will as well as help to curb the activities of saboteurs in Biafra land because after the accreditation the modus operandi on information dissemination in the group will change. Before one will be accredited, one must be identified by his/her unit coordinator, zonal coordinator, LGA coordinator and senatorial coordinator as a member of IPOB, members were to pay N1,200 for their January 2018 monthly due and accreditation form fee before the accreditation, some complained they do not have the money to pay for the monthly due during the exercise of accreditation as a result of late information but they were able to pay N200 for the cost of accreditation form and processing and they were duly accredited but was urged to pay to their respective units.
The accreditation team was drawn from the state executive principal officers of IPOB who before now were trained for it, the exercise was headed by the state coordinator Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya.
