NNAMDI KANU AND THE TRAITS OF LEADERSHIP

A leader must be fearless, courageous, bold, outspoken and humble to say the truth always. He must be a person of vision and have a sense of direction. The question is does Nnamdi kanu possess these qualities? The answer is, yes.

Since he started to lead IPOB towards the restoration of Biafra, these characteristics have been manifesting. He started by building a powerful media house "the radio Biafra” and directing the affairs of radio Biafra as a means of letting the world know about Biafra and how the government of Nigeria is killing and treating Biafrans.

He simply works towards the self-determination of the indigenous people of Biafra. The principle of self-determination of the indigenous people as enshrined in the UN charter clearly states that indigenous people have the right of self-determination and to develop themselves with their natural resources. Instead of Nigeria who is also a signatory to the charter to heed the call to the self-determination of Biafra and do what is necessary, the government detained citizen Nnamdi Kanu against his fundamental human right.

They hurriedly took him to court on trumped up charges just because he is asking for the self-determination of Biafra. After a court of competent jurisdiction ruled in his favour to be released unconditionally the Nigerian government did not obey the court order. Instead they arraign him in another court in Abuja, not until justice Binta Nyako granted him bail under stringent condition was he freed though conditionally.

Nnamdi kanu through his charisma has united both Biafrans in riverine areas and the upland with our brothers from Idoma in Benue state, the Igbankes in Edo and the Igalas from Kogi state in Biafraland. The evidence is there, since he was released from Kuje prison, People have been trooping to Isiama afaraukwu to show their support and solidarity to the great leader of IPOB.
A good example was on Tuesday 20th June 2017 just an emergency call by the leader to all IPOB members that was answered without delay. On that day media team all over Biafraland paid him a solidarity visit with IPOB members from the riverine areas of Akwaibom, Bayelsa and Cross-river states of Biafraland.

Furthermore, on Wednesday the 28th June 2017 Biafrans all over Biafraland answered another emergency call from him. The miracle of rainbow circling the sun on that day in the venue of the meeting testified the authenticity of the restoration of Biafra. He has made Biafrans to know who they are and what they stand for; even people from the western and northern regions now understand what Biafra stand for.
