April 22 2021 | The Biafra Telegraph

The recent proclamation by Britain to grant Asylum to Indigenous People of Biafra whom are going through torture and execution in Nigeria is a welcome development. It shows that Britain is following up with events in the country and to a level they are reading very fast too. Britain must move further to a next level in this attempt to save lives of innocent Biafrans and that level is, SUPPORT FOR REFERENDUM AND EMERGENCE OF BIAFRA NATION.

It is no longer news that Nigeria is almost shutdown and Britain knows this more than any other Nation in the World. Britain knows that the emergence of Biafra Nation is a matter of months. This is why Britain must, as a matter of urgency negotiate with Mazi Nnamdi Kanu (IPOB Leader) to discuss their interests in the new state of Biafra.

It is a known fact, that Britain is the biggest beneficiary of the weakness of present Nigeria, and what that means is, their interest tilts to Biafra region more than the dying Nigeria nation if tomorrow the country disintegrates with the emergence of Biafra.

The best way for Britain to start mending fences with Biafra after a long sour relationship due to their complicity in the subjugation and genocide in Biafra land over the years, is to add their voice in support of a referendum in Nigeria. This will help to stop the present bloodbath going on in Biafra land and usher in a brand-new Nation to a people that have suffered untold pressure for decades.

The time to negotiate is now. Britain must not act like Nigeria whom over 50 years felt too safe and comfortable to negotiate with Biafra for a peaceful and United Nation, and today, it is too late because Biafra must be restored.

Failure to embrace Nnamdi Kanu for negotiation will spell doom for them because their economy is dependent on the resources in Biafra Land. What this means is, they will face a huge economic strangulation.

Make hay while the sun shines. This is the time.
