The Nigeria police on the early hours of Tuesday 18 August, 2020 around
5:00am as confirmed b an eye witness, abducted the state coordinator of IPOB
Ebonyi state in his house at Ugwulangwu Ohaozara LGA Ebonyi state.
Firstly, they took him to Obiozara police station for interrogation, few
hours later the police demanded to take him back to search his house, but on
their way taking him back to search his house, the Nigeria police that took him
diverted the road and take him to an unknown direction.
As at the time of this report, no one could reach him or give an account
of where they took him to as all the efforts made to reach him or the police so
far has proved abortive.
No reason has been made known to his family members or the public by the
Nigeria police on why an innocent man and a civilian Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya
was abducted by the Nigeria police.
Family members of IPOB in Abakaliki province has warned the Nigeria
police to make sure nothing happens to him else there will be fire outburst and
unrest in the state as they're waiting for order from the central command.
The governor of Ebonyi state, David Umahi is being placed on
notification as the chief security of the state should anything happens to Mazi
Igwe Ogbonnaya or any family members of IPOB in the state that he will not
escape the looming doom.
