June 12 2020 | The Biafra Telegraph

The eighteen members of Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) arrested by the Delta State Police in their various business locations on the 19th of March have been under severe incarceration by the reckless and Lawless Nigeria Police in Delta State in the past three months without trial nor bail granted them.

Recall that, during the Police raid of these innocent members of IPOB, they opened fire on some of them who tried to resist arrest. One member has been missing till date while some are still nursing bullet wounds by the Terrorist Police Officers, while Eighteen were arrested and taken away.

The Police framed up some criminal charges against them, such as being members of IPOB, being murderers, armed robbers, kidnappers and for being in illegal possession of arms. The IPOB Legal department has made every legal effort to take them on bail but to no avail.

MAGISTRATE COURT:

On the 8th day of June, the State Police department, secretly took them to Magistrate Court, Okwe without allowing them access to their Lawyer nor their families.

Information got to the States Media person Mazi Chibueze Ugwu, who rushed down to the Court but on arrival, he was told that they have been taken back to the Prison as the case was not entertained for lack of jurisdiction. The case was transferred back to DPP and adjourned to 22nd June 2020.

This is one of several cases of subjugation and dehumanization of the people of the South-East region of the contraption called Nigeria.

We are not relenting in our belief that BIAFRA is the sole solution to this psychological torture.

We shall keep you updated.

IPOB is One Family.
