April 20 2020 | The Biafra Telegraph
It is a sad Day in Bayelsa as the people are forced into
the streets weeping as the Government destroys one of their biggest markets
without allowing them the chance to vacate and save their goods from the
demolition carried out by Government under the supervision of armed military
men. Traders ran out from their homes to see what they can salvage but to their
shock, the destruction has gone too far and they are here rolling and wailing
in pains.
In Bayelsa, there is a total Lockdown in compliance with
Government directives to check the spread of Covid-19. This same insensitive
Government did not make provision for her citizens in any way while the
Lockdown lasts. It is over two weeks ago that the people have been shut down
from their source of livelihood and they have been crying out from their
respective houses for food. It becomes a most wicked, most worrisome and
insensitive act by the State Government who could not raise a single
palliative, to move bulldozers into the market where these hungry citizens
depend on, to destroy their wares in their absence.
What is wrong with the human blood that runs in the veins
of the Rulers in Government? Why are Nigeria Politicians the most callous in
the World? Why are they so reckless with Power? To think that these people cannot
get Justice in any Court of Law makes it even worse. To think that this act of
lawlessness will pass without a word of apology or any form of compensation is
to say the least.
Fellow, Biafrans Bayelsa! You must raise up to the
occasion, understand that the Politicians in present day Nigeria don't have
your interest at heart. They are after their selfish gains. They can inflict
any level of pain on you just to amass wealth for their families. They don't
care if a hundred of you die.
Join Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and fight for your Freedom from the
cages of deprivation and subjugation. Stand up and join the leading voice to
say Enough is enough. BIAFRA AND NO GOING BACK.
This wickedness must surely be revisited one Day.
