Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the indigenous peoples of Biafra, (IPOB) is not selfish in his quest for freedom. He is also seeking freedom for all those in captivity for Biafra restoration and otherwise. He keeps saying all the time that freedom for Biafra is freedom for the whole of Africa. In his series of broadcasts on Radio Biafra, he was always campaigning for the freedom of all those illegally detained in Nigerian prisons by the Nigerian government, and examples are IPOB members, Sambo Dasuki, El Zaczaky, Omoyele Sowore e t c.

Recently, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was on a diplomatic move on the restoration of Biafra. He had visited International bodies like the European Union (EU), and the United Nations (UN) telling them the importance of Biafra restoration. He did not tell them about Biafra alone, he also told them about the cases of Omoyele Sowore and that of El Zakzaky. This act shows that he is a man of justice who is ready to fight injustice anywhere he sees it, no matter who is involved. Even when Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was in Kuje prison in Abuja, Nigeria, he was fighting the cause of his fellow inmates who have spent years in detention without trial.

Fighting for Sowore's freedom also shows Kanu's sophistication and benevolence. I hope we all remember how callous and insensitive Sowore treated Kanu when the DSS arrested him in 2015. Sowore was on Buhari's side and used his Sahara Reporters platform to malign Kanu. Sahara Reporters told all sorts of lies against him. They even went to the extent of publishing a photo-shopped picture just to put Kanu down. Everybody knows that Omoyele Sowore contributed immensely to the foisting of Muhammadu Buhari on Nigerians. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu put all those aside and is now the leading voice for Sowore's freedom.

There was an anonymous quote, and I quote " For Nnamdi Kanu to mention the cases of Sowore and El Zaczaky at the United Nations shows that he is a man of justice Irrespective of Tribe or Religion ". It also shows that Biafra, when restored, will be a Nation where justice will prevail. When I say justice, I mean justice that does not look at anyone's face but will always call a spade, a spade. If you go to the Nigerian court, you will understand what I mean. There is nothing like justice; it is a place where justice is perverted.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is leading by example, he does not say one thing and does another, he does not take a bribe, and so if you take a bribe, you will not expect him to spare you. According to him, in Biafra land, decisions will be made based on the will of the majority, and that is what is called democracy. Not the dictatorship practiced in Nigeria in the name of democracy. The good things practiced and enjoyed in the Western world will be brought to Biafra land for everybody to enjoy and practice. Biafra will not be a nation where leaders will neglect basic amenities and run to the developed world to enjoy what others have laboured to put in place. Biafra will be a Nation where justice and equity will be the order of the day.
COME QUICKLY O BIAFRA!!
